Haven't seen much of her, but so far do like Hannah's observations. I mean "observations" because they're quite realistic, not trendy received opinion. Also worth noting p--nhub say female p--n consumers have a significantly higher preference for bondage p--n etc.
The double standard around pornography reflects a flattering assumption about women: that their desires are inherently healthier, and that expressing those desires is therefore a form of progress. As Emma Goldman many other feminists have advocated. With male pornography, we ask all the right questions about expectations and side-effects, but when women consume sexually explicit fiction, the discussion comes to a halt if the girls enjoy it. "At least they're reading!" Says The Guardian. "You should let your teen read smut, I started at 13," wrote UnHerd. In this vaccum of criticism of female pornography, a huge industry has developed, pushing violent smut to younger and younger girls.

Then of course there's the oft-repeated feminist assertions about why some girls are miserable & identifying out of there sex. It's always parriarchy/p--n of course, but how much of what they absorb is from what they read (& spin-off movies)?

Just 18% of individuals who responded to the government's consultation were British citizens. Three quarters were migrants here on a temporary visa. Our immigration policy is now being decided by those who are not even citizens of this country.

Do they make p--n movies anymore, or just shorts? What happens for something like a Revenge of the Voluptuous Vampiresses (dunno if exists) where erm... neck-harm is a key element? [Note the sex scene in the relatively recent remake of Nosferatu]
Porn culture is rotten, and excessive porn use is a problem. But—I'm sorry—2 years' imprisonment for choking porn, defined as "applying pressure to another person’s neck," is ridiculous. It's not "libertarian" or "pro-porn" to call out the UK's obvious authoritarian excesses.

> Yeah-but vampires are not realistic. < Yeah-but which elements matter? The voluptuous vampiresses or a close-up of them realistically squeezing & biting a neck?

Here's me thinking the government wanted 14 year olds to learn vocational skills...
A Hampshire couple have been fined £600 and ordered to pay a further £6,000 in costs for allowing their 14-year-old son to work on the family's mobile food trailer. Dexter, their son, enjoys it and has a passion for it. That’s typical of the laws in this country. Encourage the work shy and penalise the hard working. As if the stress on this family weren’t enough the family said they were tackling the dispute with the council while supporting eldest son Oskar, 17, while he received treatment for blood cancer. @darrenpaffey @laboursatvir @carolinenokes Parents fined for employing teen son in food trailer bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8vg…

Guess who 23yo daughter dressed up as for Halloween. It's spooky for me in one sense because I've *never* seen daughter in a "soft glam" face w. eyeliner etc. Better looking than the original subject mind, more like a Bond girl.

I could've answered this question in 1st grade, and I am not exaggerating
I still struggle to believe this is a real question from a practice test for the new SAT, but it is.

Another £10bn for Ukraine. Billions more for Mauritius. £13bn on foreign aid in 2025. This is less a budget for Britain and more for the world.

This. First thing that crossed my mind was my long late mother praising the benefits of public speaking lessons at [Municipal High] school around the start of WW2. Imagine there was a standard, not "All modes of speaking are equal & valid" or whatever.
Dilemma at the heart of the oracy debate. Personally, I think there's a middle way between "don't teach conventions as they are prejudices" and "always correct them". It depends on the context. But I believe we do children an injustice if we pretend that there are no conventions.

Second thing was my campaign against daughter using "literally ... like" in her early teens. She stopped that by-and-by & that was clearly an improvement. Regional accents? Suspect a significant part of this is now American excesses, including vocal fry & uptalk.
