Just 18% of individuals who responded to the government's consultation were British citizens. Three quarters were migrants here on a temporary visa. Our immigration policy is now being decided by those who are not even citizens of this country.

Here's me thinking the government wanted 14 year olds to learn vocational skills...
A Hampshire couple have been fined £600 and ordered to pay a further £6,000 in costs for allowing their 14-year-old son to work on the family's mobile food trailer. Dexter, their son, enjoys it and has a passion for it. That’s typical of the laws in this country. Encourage the work shy and penalise the hard working. As if the stress on this family weren’t enough the family said they were tackling the dispute with the council while supporting eldest son Oskar, 17, while he received treatment for blood cancer. @darrenpaffey @laboursatvir @carolinenokes Parents fined for employing teen son in food trailer bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8vg…

I could've answered this question in 1st grade, and I am not exaggerating
I still struggle to believe this is a real question from a practice test for the new SAT, but it is.

Another £10bn for Ukraine. Billions more for Mauritius. £13bn on foreign aid in 2025. This is less a budget for Britain and more for the world.
"He told us: 'You've made my day.'" Chancellor John Healey tells how Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to his pledge of a further £10bn of additional economic and military support for Ukraine going into winter. trib.al/RThoFNs 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

Education should not be democratically determined. You should not vote what and how you want my kids to get taught. Families should choose. Educators should set out the options. The "debate" takes place through supply and demand. We will figure out what works best.
What schools should do is entirely up for debate. There is no inherently ‘correct’ answer to the purpose of school. Historically there have been varied aims. This is why education always will be, and always should be, democratically determined.

Alongside @afneil nobody explains economics better than the brilliant @LiamHalligan He’s a busy man, newly appointed to run the Centre for Policy Studies, so very chuffed to see him embarking on a collaboration with Outpost. Here are his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s Budget.

Wild.
“It’s not that liberals are more tolerant than conservatives, or vice versa. Liberal and conservative men are more or less equally tolerant, as are liberal and conservative women. It’s being a man, liberal or conservative, that makes the difference.”

Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing... The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer. - TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely. - LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap. - OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for. These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure. foxio.io/blog/choose-your-ba…

Blade Runner 2099 is going to play out in this exact, predictable sequence. First, it was greenlit purely because executives think the chuds who like the OG and/or 2049 enjoyed them for the wrong reasons. The chuds say they're skipping this trash. The shitlibs cheer and say, "Good, you were never real fans," yet they won't bother tuning in to 2099 either. 2099 will tank miserably. The entire Blade Runner franchise will get locked in a vault for the next two decades. Shitlibs will point the finger at Amazon, stubbornly denying the reality that literally nobody, including themselves, actually wants to watch preachy slop engineered just for them.
The replicants have risen. Humanity has fallen. Blade Runner 2099, a new limited series, premieres November 25th on Prime Video.
