We've created 8 new franchises to compete against the counties - we'll take your grounds, your best players and a prime spot in the calendar.
It's not for you, there are new fans who take priority.
Now get behind it.

Intriguing.
I’m not totally convinced yet but the reaction from some makes me think it’s an improvement on where we are.

To use a cheesy phrase, when the ECB created the Hundred, division was a feature not a bug.
Telling existing fans 'it's not for you' and only playing in 8 of the 18 grounds. Division is baked in.

So it’s over. Good. I’m pretty sure the Hundred has engaged some new fans. And I’m sure, if one squints hard enough, that some positives can be found. But this misses the point. New fans could & should have been engaged in a non-divisive way that builds on what we already had.

I have only heard/watched a little of the 100. Little attempt to link in with the rest of cricket. And vice Versa. Let’s be honest, the 100 and county cricket have become enemies and that has to be bad.

After three seasons of vast marketing, and certain people maintain it’s a phenomenal success, wouldn’t you expect more?

There are virtually no overseas players that play in the Hundred that didn't play in the T20 Blast. Which is hardly a surprised. The Hundred has already lost £60m.

Good crowd at the Kia Oval for The Hundred: Oval Invincibles v Trent Rockets, but they’d still be here for a county T20 Division 1 (8-team) clash, with the added factor of relegation, a lifeblood of sport
I thought it was all families

On the way out of a thoroughly entertaining ODcup match yesterday @hantscricket I got chatting to a security man. He said at the previous #blundred match he had to break up fighting between 'fans'. John Arlott once wrote...
Remember when the Hundred was a necessity to prop up the counties?
Now it’s bin the counties.
Not that this is an official view but it’s not her first time it’s been aired.
As many have said, franchises are a trojan horse.
Great to see good crowds at One Day Cup games at Taunton, The Oval and Chelmsford.
Proper teams minus their best players and no marketing spend but loyal supporters turning out.

Think they should really go all out and just make it a women’s event I’m it’s own right. And make the T20 blast a better tournament for the men. Think it would be a great idea for the women to play international 💯 cricket

POLL TIME!!!
If this is the Hundred's last season then the ECB will have to serve a proxy to Sky and BBC.
I reckon there might be a 2 division Blast, with Div1 matches being broadcast.
Would you be in favour of this?
