That's right folks. This is the official response to a simple and pointed request. Given the scope of what amounts to an official ban this has the hallmarks of an official collective decision. Between now and October I will plan further. That work is, in fact, already underway. The key question: Why this reaction to my arguing that there should be a publicly viewable component of the GovAI Use Case Library? Sure there will be use cases where a security classification is warranted. Locking down everything is highly questionable given there fact that Government AI will impact everyone. Why is that such an issue: Two words Open Government. And that's before I get to the many other issues this raises. That's all I will be saying for now. But I'll be watching. That's all I will be saying for now. The record speaks for itself."

Good morning @jommy_tee Good news from me concerning my work on AI, moral disengagement and moral engagement. Not withstanding the many issues with AI, the media needs to lift its game. Why? Many of the issues are down to the institutionalised behaviours and practices within organisations and the mindset of some individuals within them. This wikipedia page needs updating. Labor Left indeed. I venture to say that in earlier times he would be disendorsed and expelled from the party.

Just when the US people are putting a barge pole between themselves and President Trump, Albanese is giving him a bear hug. Here’s a message from the Australian people for him: End AUKUS.

His views are those of an ideological twat. He should be exported to Trump’s dead end political sewer.

Oops @wilding_gyres My early morning pre-coffee slip up. To the critics of the work of Nina.
To the critics of @wilding_gyres I say this. Such work as this has a solid potential to build bridges of understanding. Her openness, transparency and honesty is what is needed. Why? It cuts through the destructive binary thinking that has become all too prevalent.

These words, thoughts and feelings of Cate Blanchett resonate deeply and profoundly with me.

The narratives we should be focusing on when it comes to AI are the ones that hold the tech industry accountable. @NYCMayor Mamdani and comedian @ilazer dug into reasserting this kind of public control over our lives at The People’s AI Assembly, co-hosted with @MorePerfectUS.

Writer @NaomiAKlein says the rapid rise of artificial intelligence is part of a much longer project of privatization. "After 50 years of outsourcing and hollowing out of public functions of the state, the very last stage is the outsourcing of thinking, of intelligence itself."

And neither does the Australian Government too many of their officials. It goes like this: 1. Does AI have an innate conscience like human beings? No 2. Can AI be given a moral lens. Yes 3. How can that work? An AI persona built on the work of Professor Albert Bandura. And others: For example Chris Argyris. 4. Can that lens be applied to AI itself? Yes I started with a hypothesis. Then experimented and tested across 7 AI platforms. deep-truth-persona-gp8lvbl.g…

Vladimir Poutine n'a trahi personne.

Excellent learnings and advice. It’s something I learned ages ago. In no small part that’s down to luck and socialisation aka introversion. I actually feel uncomfortable I start to get caught in a recursive loop. And see others getting locked into it. Unfortunately, this is something that’s all too common in Australian Government institutions. And elsewhere. Story telling is something that helps with this. Especially when dealing with undiscussables in organisations. welcome-to-the-flock-vo97as3…
