I think the “Jerry Seinfeld was a hack elevated by the genius of Larry David” is a trite and reductive opinion, but then something like this drops and it’s like… idk man
Jerry Seinfeld reveals his biggest regret from Seinfeld, a joke he begged Larry David to include, but Larry refused.
Jerry Seinfeld: “This is what my greatest regret of the entire series is.”
“We had this bit on the show where, if you wanted someone to keep a secret, you would say to them, ‘Will you put it in the vault?’ And they would go, ‘It’s in the vault.’”
“There was an opportunity for a character to say, ‘But it’s in the vault,’ and the other character would go, ‘Oy, the vault.’”
“I said, ‘Larry, we’re never going to get a chance to make this joke ever again in our lives. To go, “Oy, the vault.”’ Do you remember this conversation?”
Larry David: “Yeah.”
Jerry Seinfeld: “And I begged him, and he didn’t want to do it.”

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

According to the latest campaign finance reports, Hochul had $12.3 million remaining, compared with $1.2 million for the Nassau County executive.
Both candidates have spent millions on advertising and received significant financial support from their party committees.
With Election Day approaching on Nov. 3, both campaigns are focusing on reaching voters in the final stretch.

I don’t like fuckery in elections. That said, fictional pollsters putting out fake surveys, like what happened to Mallory McMorrow’s campaign is considerably more harmful to our elections.

"It was once extremely rare for grand jurors to rebuff prosecutors and turn down a request for an indictment" is now something that is becoming fairly routine. See Letitia James and Comey. Reflecting pool 'vandal.' The Subway sandwich guy. 6 Dem lawmakers' video/illegal orders.
It was once extremely rare for grand jurors to rebuff prosecutors and turn down a request for an indictment, given that the Justice Department has traditionally sought criminal charges only in cases it expects to win. But prosecutors have become increasingly convinced they will be unable to bring any indictment that is seen as political while Trump is in office.

Never in my life have I seen so many cases brought forth by the US government be so assiduously rejected. But I guess getting a conviction isn’t the point.

18 U.S.C. § 592 is a law enacted by Congress that prohibits federal or military officials from ordering, bringing, or keeping troops or 'armed men' at any place where an election is being held. In some cases, federal officials can monitor an election, but that is all they are allowed to do. Let's follow the law and vote.
