-fim do bolsa família,
Prevaleceu o medo.

Identical to the Neocons who say "We are the true supporters of conservatism" while voting D up and down ballot.
Or

When you hear every mainstream Democrat now promoting making Puerto Rico and DC states and “packing the court” just look to Brazil as their model. Give them power again, and they intend to never let anyone win it back in a fair electoral fight.
Tones was right about Lula rigging the runoff. Will he be right about Democrats not doing so hot in the Midterms? Let's find out this November!

It's actually the low stakes that encourages the bad behavior in my experience

The first two things he has advocated for since “winning” are a social media speech regulation and arresting political opponents.
Hence why you never give the left power.
This is why I get so pissed off when I see people on the “right” tell everybody vote Democrat in protest.

You'd think after like 4 fake pollsters already this year, people would take like two seconds to check out a pollster no one has ever heard of.
- All AI "How we poll section"
- Brand new firm that could afford to do 31 polls all within the past 6 days.
- Says they Text voters to do the poll, and got response from about 30k people. Just for the record a poll that texts for 1k response can need up to 75k texts, so this implies like 2.2M texts in the course of 3 days. Do you have any idea how much that costs?

In 2021, Texas passed HB 957 to protect made-in-Texas suppressors from federal regulation. It passed the House 95-51, and 14 Democrats voted yes. Jon Rosenthal and James Talarico voted no. Early voting through Oct 30. Vote Republican all the way down the ballot.

Every election system and method can be rigged. Why? Because humans are in control of them.
What matters is that we have fair election workers, judges, justices, and a fair election system. If we don’t have any of that, then it is chaos.
This is why we need consistency.

Harris County “ran out” of ballot paper on Election Day 2022, conveniently at mostly Republican voting locations.
Those missing votes allowed Lina Hidalgo to snatch another term.
Never wait until the last day to cast your vote.
Why is early voting so important?
Imagine that 1 million Texas democrats voted early & almost no Republicans took advantage of early voting.
Not only would we go into Election Day with a deficit of -1 million votes,
but what if there were a catastrophe on Election Day i.e. running out of paper ballots?
Republicans would overwhelmingly be harmed by something going wrong on Election Day because we have more voters trying to vote on 1 day.
We would lose a senate seat, the governorship, & House seats across the state.
I do believe that the Republican Party’s embrace of early voting this cycle not only helps to counteract any “blue wave” narrative, but it will ultimately help mitigate potential election fraud.

That depends.
65+ themselves have swung left since 2020, while 50-65 have swung right.
There are also some other factors. This is an asset economy, and 65+ are the asset class. If someone is feeling decent about various long term economic things, it would be 65+.
Most polls have 50 and older either on par or to the right of 2024. They are relying on 18-30s being 15% or more of the electorate to generally get their bluer results.

Most Texans don’t understand how important the Texas Railroad Commissioner is.
This position is the head of the most powerful oil and gas regulator in the nation.
Allowing an environmental extremist to tinker with that agency could be catastrophic to the Texas economy.

BREAKING: Brazil's election could be annulled, according to the New York Times.
Electoral lawyers say Brazil's current situation is "extremely serious" and a "critical situation."
The NYT reports that confusion over a last-minute voting extension by Justice Cristiano Zanin, who was appointed by Lula, could lead to the election being annulled.
"This is an extremely serious, critical situation," said electoral lawyer Priscilla Sodré Pereira to the New York Times.
When Zanin made the last-minute decision to extend voting hours, some polling stations had already closed and shut down their voting machines. They could not reopen.
"Fernando Neisser, an electoral law professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Brazilian research institute, said the election could be annulled if the margin is very narrow and it is shown that polling stations stayed open longer in areas that strongly favor one candidate," the NYT reported.
Wow.
