Yesterday this fox was one of SIX hunted by the Fitzwilliam Hunt.
With the hunting community desperately clutching at straws trying to deny the fact that for over 20 years they've been using "trail" hunting as a smokescreen, hunts such as the Fitzwilliam are doing everything in their power to prove their own side wrong.
A recent news report quoted Worcestershire Hunt Master Adrian Ward as saying "We're in the open countryside...but we do put everything in place that we can." We wonder what he would say about six foxes being hunted during one cub hunting meet?
Hunts and their 'governing bodies' are not working together, they are a contradiction in terms, and still after twenty plus years cannot get their stories straight which only further exposes their lies.

A reminder of this animal abuser who violently beat a puppy to death.
Thomas James Eddinson, from Gainsborough, beat one-year-old Jack Russell Oreo to death in a sustained attack while caring for his partner’s dog.
A post-mortem revealed horrific injuries, including a ruptured liver, extensive internal bleeding, bruising across his body and damage to his brain and eye.
Afterwards, Eddinson sent his ex-partner a video taunting her about what he had done.
In March 2021, he admitted causing unnecessary suffering to an animal. He received an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, 150 hours of unpaid work and a 10-year ban on keeping animals.
The court heard he had experienced foster care, mental health difficulties and dyslexia in mitigation.
Oreo lost his life in a brutal attack. Eddinson avoided imprisonment.
Water companies want to push up bills even further.
AND Thames Water wants an excruciatingly expensive £2.4 billion bailout.
No more water company failures at our expense. Let them go bust!
✍️Take 2 mins to email your MP and ask them to urge the Chancellor ahead of the budget: stop the bill hikes and bring Thames Water into special administration!

Thames Water spent £2bn on fees in 18 months to stay private. Now it's asking its creditors for £2.4bn more. But it's customers who will pay the price via their water bills.
If the deal goes ahead the average Thames Water bill will have risen from £488 to £672 while Labour has been in government.

Yesterday, two Quantock Staghound hunters were up in court over the killing of this stag, with one of them facing a further charge.
This happened in Rachel Gilmour MP’s constituency of Tiverton & Minehead.
Gilmour recently wrote in defence of trail hunting in Hounds magazine, describing it as “forming part of a long and richly woven rural social fabric that binds farms, villages and families together through shared work, ritual, and memories”
What a load of romanticised guff. 🙄💩
Dressing up the sort of barbarism witnessed here, and more recently at the Quorn Hunt on Friday, in flowery language about rural traditions doesn’t make it less barbaric. This is cruelty, not culture and she should be ashamed. Rural communities overwhelmingly reject this barbarism in line with the rest of the country.
Join AAS Action Against Staghunting on Saturday for a peaceful march:

Harold Macmillan’s warning about “selling the family silver” is worth remembering.
His point: when governments are under financial pressure, they must not mistake the sale or depletion of capital assets for sustainable income.
“First the Georgian silver goes … Then the Canalettos go.”
Nearly 40 years later, the same principle matters.
A government desperate to improve its fiscal position should be very careful about policies that weaken productive assets, whether infrastructure, businesses or the land that produces our food.
You can make the accounts look better today while leaving the country poorer tomorrow.
