A little about me:
Upper-30s. Senior leader in Fortune 25 company
BBA in Finance and MBA w/ concentration in Strategy
Based my investment strategy on Benjamin Graham. When I got my first job after college, I maxed out 401Ks, company match, IRAs, etc. I’m set for Retirement with several million already in retirement accounts + Company Equity Grants
Zero debt outside of Mortgage. Never have and never will.
I dabbled in individual trading in my 20s, but never really had the time for it as I was climbing the corporate ladder
I started getting into individual trading last year, and I’m loving it. Mostly because of the X community that is behind it. I love researching stocks, and the tools today along with AI, just make it a lot of fun
I have two kids under 4, and I already love investing on their behalf. Their net worths are already in the 4 digits. They will not have to worry about money
In short: my goal is to grow my RH account to $1M by 2030 to pay off my house. Undecided what I will do after that
Thanks for coming to my page and supporting my investment journey!
Not saying $IREN is going to be the next Apple, Tesla or Amazon. What I’m trying to put into perspective is that massive peak-to-trough moves for high growth, capital-intensive businesses in their infancy are extremely common.
Winners can look broken and recovery times can vary. But execution and fundamentals always prevail. If $IREN executes, we will all look back on this moment as a great buying opportunity.
$IREN was always a 2027 story. Compute comes online and contracts start delivering revenue. This is where patience comes in and you have to level set your investment horizon. Mine is 2030 and always has been. IREN has the makings of a $100B company, it just might take 2-3 years to get there, and that is okay with me. This company keeps getting better, despite the price action. Thesis only changes if the company stops executing. Everything else is noise.

I don’t think IREN would sell out. They are founder led, completely vertical with healthy financing strategy, delivering compute against large contracts, and have built out an impressive management team with extensive background at major Tech firms. They will be one of the neoclouds that survives

Great take. 4th paragraph is why $IREN is so well positioned, and will be here for the longterm

Unfortunately there is too much CUD swirling AI, especially neoclouds. No rally until financing clarity and cash flows are tangible.
Short term, comments like this create FUD and selling pressure for Neoclouds and alike. But, this is actually bullish for $IREN. Here’s why:
As @danroberts0101 has said all along, now is about execution. Contract headlines won’t move the needle.
This is what @elonmusk is saying. Neoclouds that can DELIVER on GPUs, mainly those with grid-secured power, are the ones that will succeed.
Has Token usage slowed down? No. Has demand increased with token costs decreasing? Yes.
Selling pressure will continue until $IREN can prove it can finance capex effectively (w/o high int debt and dilution) and they can deliver cash flow on GPUs in a timely fashion.
Long term, i don’t have doubts. Near term, probably painful.

I think we’re going to see a lot of stranded compute in partially complete data centers

Very well said. Essentially, no one will be doing redundant and trivial tasks anymore. I’m already seeing it at work with our internal AI analysis tools. I’m no longer spending time pulling data, organizing, and running computations to understand trends. I’m simply asking my Agent to run an analysis on variables i provide, and the results are incredible. I now have time for more strategic thinking and developing personal relationships. Same thing will happen with personal life. You will be able to spend more time doing the things you enjoy, instead of the mundane.
