UPDATE: In our petition challenging the drastic reduction of the #NEETPG2025 qualifying cut-off, the Union Govt. @MoHFW_INDIA has informed the Hon’ble Supreme Court that it has constituted a @DghsIndia-led 12-member Expert Committee to comprehensively review the NEET-PG admission system and recommend reforms.
The Hon’ble Court has granted 8 weeks for submission of the report.
As petitioners, we will also submit our recommendations before the Expert Committee. Stakeholders are invited to share constructive suggestions with us ([email protected]).
We will endeavour to incorporate well-founded recommendations in our representation.
Together, let us work towards a transparent, fair and merit-based NEET-PG admission system.

Delhi: On the government's decision to ban Telegram until the NEET re-test, Chairperson, United Doctors Front (UDF), Dr. Lakshya Mittal says, "Earlier, the NTA had to seek assistance from the Indian Air Force for the security of examination papers, and now it has to ban Telegram channels. All of this indicates that the NTA itself does not have confidence in the security of its examination ecosystem. Instead of addressing the root cause, dismantling the paper leak mafia, and making the system foolproof, the NTA, which is a society-model registered NGO, is only taking superficial steps. If Telegram is removed, another platform will be used..."

#WATCH | Dr. Lakshya Mittal, President, United Doctors Front (UDF) says, "We have filed a PIL in the Supreme Court, challenging the shocking reduction of NEET-PG cut off to -40 marks. This decision doesn't look accidental. It appears to be a complete game plan and a part of well-oiled system that benefits private medical college mafias. This move is clearly paving the way for auctioning of medical seats where money replaces merit. Allowing doctors with negative marks to enter the PG trainin not only destroys the merit but also threatens the patients' safety. This dilution of medical education standard is unacceptable and that is why we have moved the Supreme Court to protect the merit, ethics and patients' lives."
