This beautiful girl knows what she likes-and playtime is definitely at the top of the list. Give her a feather wand, mouse, ball, or toy dancer and prepare to watch her pounce, bat, kick, toss, roll, and genuinely have the time of her life! 🧸💕 Leia also enjoys the finer things in life, including tasty treats, cozy lounging, and the occasional head scratch from her favorite humans. She'll happily come to the front of her kennel to say hello, solicit attention, and accept treats. Like any true princess, Leia has her boundaries. She prefers short interactions and appreciates having the freedom to decide when she's ready for more attention. If she becomes overstimulated, she may let you know with a swat or by walking away. Giving her space when she asks for it is the best way to earn her trust, and she may surprise you by coming right back when she's ready! 👑 Leia needs a little time to settle into a new home and get comfortable with her people. She would do best with an experienced adopter who understands feline body language and is happy to let her relationship develop at her own pace. She is extremely intelligent and high energy, and needs to expend energy constructively with interactive play sessions 3-4X/day. In addition to playtime, this cat would also benefit from mental exercise from activities such as puzzle toys/games, lick mats, or clicker training. Without providing activity for her mind and body, the cat may react with rough play, potentially resulting in bite/scratch incidents. It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children. I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace. I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
