My life-saving operation was cancelled by HCA (UK) for a ‘lack of shared beliefs’. HCA reinstated it, apologised and worked with me to create a gold-standard patient policy, to guarantee same sex care.
I’d like to see this implemented across the NHS.
Still working on it!
Last year, a London hospital cancelled a woman's life-saving operation at the last minute because it didn't 'share her values' after she said she wanted her aftercare nurses to be female. There's now been a major and brilliant development teapawt.net/ripx4nutmeg/status/158… 1/4

"There is no chance of “reconciliation” with this organisation. What I’d like to see is their remaining assets stripped, their charity status revoked and any money divided up and given to people and organisations trying to fix the mess they helped to create"
The fascinating (euphemism!) thing about this quote from the ex-CEO of @stonewalluk is that this - this right here - is precisely the kind of conversion rhetoric that was used by my doctor and father tried to use on me.
They tried to tell me that my lack of attraction to women was just an error, and that I could fix it by masturbating while thinking of butch women.
They gave me a book that told a ridiculous set of stories about how my attraction was just mixing up social signals and my attraction to men wasn’t real. It was a societal effect of wanting some kinship with other boys.
It also said my attractions could and should be changed by being more open to thinking sexually about the opposite sex.
What Nancy said here is precisely the sort of “conversion therapy” that still goes on. It’s not electro shock therapy and it’s not “therapy”. It’s social coercion by people teens trust.
And here is someone gay teens were supposed to be able to trust, doing exactly what my father and doctor tried to do.
Just like them, she put the real message inside something that sounded plausible on first read through, but was really nothing more than social coercion via shame.
Stonewall say they want to take the “heat” out of “the debate”. But this alone is unforgivable. Even without the insertion of direct homophobia and the attempt to get gay people (and She’s targeting lesbians here) to pretend to be attracted to people they are not - the sentiment is appalling and coercive.
Physical attraction is not something you can manifest via “progressive” attitudes. Obesity is not attractive to most people. Plenty of disabilities mean sexual attraction will not occur. That isn’t “societal prejudice”, it’s biological reality.
As is the fact men are not women, and few people are genuinely attracted to people fraudulently presenting themselves as the opposite sex.
This is the reality of “conversion therapy” in the modern west. Societal and organisational coercion that says there’s something wrong with you if you’re not physically attracted to someone if they are a member of a group they have deemed “marginalised”.
It’s much wider than just sexual orientation, though the insertion of “trans people” is directly arguing lesbians “should” find men pretending to be women attractive and that gay men “should” find women with their breasts removed and on hormones attractive.
That isn’t how attraction works. For decades gay people have been explaining this, even though most straight people understand it intuitively - only to be betrayed by an organisation pretending to support them.
Stonewall are complicit in abuse against gay people- particularly lesbians - to appease and encourage those men (and women) who desire to make their own personal fantasy reality… or rather want to force others to play along with their fantasy because they can’t handle the truth.
There is no chance of “reconciliation” with this organisation. What I’d like to see is their remaining assets stripped, their charity status revoked and any money divided up and given to people and organisations trying to fix the mess they helped to create.

Presumably they’re frightened because there is a Protected Characteristic of Gender Reassignment in law, behind which he can assert protections for his antisocial behaviour in the work place?
A Protected Characteristic that you and Sex Matters have never sought to question - indeed, you diverted everyone from questioning it by focussing on the PC of Sex and women’s rights.
So are you ready to call for repeal of that law yet? Or do you think we need a dozen more court cases to establish which cup size makes all the difference between valid ‘trans rights’ vs co-opting others into witnessing an autoerotic disorder - such as Hayton displays to children in schools?
Having had a daughter who had to share her school and sports lessons with cross dressing boys and is at university now where she might encounter such a tutor, it is frankly galling to hear you lament this harassment whilst saying nothing about the law that facilitates it.
Presumably @UniofOxford is more frightened of being sued by Rattley than by all the students he is harassing by teaching them while wearing vast prosthetic breasts. A peek at their risk register would be interesting.

Weird that you called a 3 fold increase in obesity in the last 60 years an “epidemic” …. but somehow a 5x higher rate of sexual assault is most definitely not an “epidemic”

No leaflet can reverse this culture.
The kidnap and sexual assault of a 7 year old girl is argued in court to be “culturally normal” in Afghanistan. This was Afsar Safi’s DEFENCE - and it worked: he got off lightly the first time.
These two pictures are linked. Afghans are the most prolific sexual predators in the world. He admits - it’s “normal” for them.
I reject the forced imposition of “multiculturalism” with “culturally normal” predators. Decades of work and education strove to eliminate abuse from our culture. OUR culture matters. That work is being undone in a few years. Women and children’s lives are now more risky and have less freedom than ever.

Dr Upton’s sex falsification has upset a female patient and her husband at his new A&E job at a New South Wales hospital.
Realising immediately that he was male but pretending to be female, the patient’s husband stayed by her bedside to ensure that her wish for same sex care would be honoured.
I wonder if Dr Upton is taking notes on them, as he did about Sandy Peggie? Her refusal to undress with him brought him to sobbing, lies and a huge court case.
I suspect he won’t be taking this couple to court - patient consent is really quite important to a doctor’s reputation …
There will be trouble ahead …

Oh what a surprise ...
Dr Beth Upton - the male doctor at the centre of nurse Sandie Peggie’s tribunal case over using a female changing room at NHS Fife - isn't exactly keeping a low profile after his move to Australia.
The Scottish Mail on Sunday reports that Upton - now known as Lis - reportedly became involved in an incident at Port Macquarie Base Hospital ...
After a female patient declined treatment from him and requested a female doctor.

Their statement on the guidance is highly concerning and reiterates a commitment to encouraging its members to continue to break the law.

I have emailed complication no:8 of Vaginoplasty operation and its details to the professional bodies in the UK and the medical directors in Wales. The email is as follows:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Reg: My request to ban deceptive Vaginoplasty surgery being done by some surgeons for the NHS and in private.
I am forwarding the details of complication no:8 of Vaginoplasty operation in this email. I am also attaching links to other complications that I have published for public view associated with this deceptive surgery. If public money is being paid for this deception and malpractice, I believe this needs investigation by the serious fraud office.
Complication number 8 following Vaginoplasty surgery:
Mucorrhoea
What is Mucorrhoea?
Mucorrhoea is excessive secretion of mucus from the Vaginoplasty wound. This happens in patients who have undergone the very major abdominal surgery of bowel transposition into the deep perineal wound.
These surgeons transplant a large bowel segment into the deep perineal wound they create. They do this by first cutting open the abdomen, then cut the large intestine (where normally faeces is present) at two places transversely, so that they can isolate a segment of bowel with its blood supply. They then bring this segment of bowel into the deep perineal wound (the so called vagina) they create between the lower limbs (perineum).
What is the inner lining of this isolated segment of large intestine made of?
The inner lining of large intestine has a very high proportion of goblet cells in its tubular glands. Goblet cells are specialised mucin (viscous similar to nasal secretion) producing cells present in large numbers in the tubular glands of large intestine. These goblet cells are provided in abundance by nature in the large intestine to provide effective mucinous barrier against the bacteria from coming into direct contact with the large intestinal epithelial cells.
Several different extensively glycosylated proteins (carbohydrate containing proteins) called mucins are secreted by goblet cells and forms a viscous physical barrier that prevents microbes from contacting the epithelial lining of the gastrointestinal tract.
Mucins are constantly produced by the human gut which line the surface cells of the large intestine in two layers. The outer layer may contain some trapped bacteria, and the inner layer of mucus is thick and is free from bacteria. In other words, the two layers of mucosa in the large intestine forms an effective barrier.
The mucus barrier of the intestine undergoes turnover and chemical changes in response to various environmental and immune signals, which allows rapid increase in mucosal barrier function. Mucins are constitutively produced by the goblet cells in the gastrointestinal epithelium and by the submucosal glands. They are replaced by newly synthesized mucin molecules every 6 to 12 hours and many litres of mucus are secreted in the adult gut each day.
Several different environmental and immune stimuli can induce dramatic increase in mucus production. I believe repeated trauma due to attempted dilatations will induce and aggravate excessive mucin production
In contrast nature has not provided the normal human Vagina with such specialised goblet cells to produce litres of mucus (glycoproteins plus water). The reason is female Vagina does not have trillions of commensal bacteria of more than 500 to 1000 species as in the colon.
So how does this excessive mucus in the bottom affect the individual who has undergone this surgery?
The bottom will constantly have an outflow of sticky viscous mucus which will need sanitary pads worn all the time to collect them and regularly visit the toilets to dispose them off. Otherwise, the area can become messy, moist and prone for bacterial multiplication and malodour. This can be bothersome and can worsen the mental health of the deceived patient/victim who already is suffering from a mental health condition described in DSM-5 psychiatry manual.
So, why did the surgeons choose such an organ (colon) and claim it is a Vagina?
I believe every surgeon is knowledgeable of human anatomy and histology of colon. They should have clearly anticipated this complication and avoided choosing bowel as a lining for the deep surgical wound that they create in the bottom and deceptively call it a Vagina. Surgeons should have known better and should have avoided putting some (those who underwent bowel Vaginoplasty) of their patients who were hitherto normal young men with no physical illness through this plight. The plight is continuous discharge of large amounts of slimy mucus between their legs for the rest of their lives.
Way Forward:
1.The GMC, Surgical Royal Colleges, DHSC and the Royal College of Anaesthetists should urgently convene a meeting and ban their members from doing/participating in such surgeries.
2.The Medical Directors and Chief Executives of various health boards in the UK should refrain from referring patients for such deceptive surgeries. I believe the medical directors of various health boards in the UK are vicariously responsible for the deception involved in such referrals.

I have asked for Idris Sheikh’s sentence to be reviewed as unduly lenient.
Care workers who abuse their residents must be severely punished, but Idris Sheikh is currently likely to serve only a third of his 20 month sentence.
I can’t be doing with trivial sentences for such crimes against vulnerable people who need care.
A former Bradford care worker has been jailed for sexually abusing a vulnerable woman in a care home.
Idris Sheikh, 46, of Carlisle Place, was convicted unanimously in August of engaging in sexual activity with a mentally disordered female.
Bradford Crown Court heard Sheikh carried out three different forms of sexual touching, while his DNA was found on the victim’s clothing.
The woman was considered too vulnerable to give evidence in person, with the prosecution case instead relying on disclosures she made to care home staff and evidence gathered by police.
Sentencing Sheikh to 20 months in prison, Judge Christopher Smith said he had abused the trust placed in him and told him he would never work in the care sector again.
Sheikh continues to deny the offence and will remain on the sex offenders register for ten years.

I met Hulbert at an NHS consultation.
He was nothing but trouble, throwing tantrums and storming in and out because members of the public had accidentally been granted access, and were calling out the big, fat lie.
Kow-towing NHS managers were like rabbits in the headlights. The place was stuffed with Terfs and Hulbert honestly looked as if he would explode with rage. It was like a Monty Pythons sketch.

How on earth does this person get air-time? And he gets paid, presumably?
I landed on the same table as Matt at an EDI NHS consultation about staff identity - the public had been granted access to this lavish conference with lunch in a plush London hotel by mistake.
The NHS Workplace Policy is discriminatory against women and I made that point, to Matt’s horror, along with referring to my personal experience re same sex care.
Other members of the public, including an A&E doctor who had wasted 40 minutes trying to help a ‘man’ in agony with a falsified NHS sex record and a blocked fallopian tube, had a great deal to say about NHS staff special identities. Matt tried to shut him down.
Then he tried to press-gang the managers to suppress everyone else’s unwelcome opinions. They kow-towed somewhat by trying to split up people who agreed with each other with table changes. Unfortunately for Matt, that was pretty much everyone in the room, so he was not rescued by a move to a second table.
Matt was thus thwarted and became angry and accusatory as the attendees, many highly articulate with compelling experiences and opinions grounded in sex reality, would not be silenced.
As with this TV appearance, Matt had no facts at his fingertips, only tired slogans and supposed victimhood status as a gay man. He became apoplectic when he couldn’t get his way and stormed out.
A ‘kid gloves’ homily followed which, of course, fell on deaf ears. The NHS managers were like rabbits in the headlights. They know the public is done with transpandering.

This is not a grand statement, as I'm not a fan of when non-Ministers/MPs do those, but just to say that tomorrow I'll be resigning from @NHSEngland's LGBT+ Sounding Board over the NHS's announcement that all trans staff and patients must use facilities of their biological birth.

The sideroom has to be preserved as a fluid resource - at any minute a patient may develop an infection or become very unwell, or a new patient admitted needing isolation, and the room is continually swapped and allocated to the person whose need for isolation is greatest at that minute. It can temporarily be given to a well person but has to be available to be swapped without notice, and the person has to accept that. It isn’t a solution for trans-id people.
NHS staff certainly have been forced to make decisions to favour trans-id people above clinical needs and risk (the kidney transplantation unit is a serious example, leaked to me by an anonymous whistleblower), reflected in by Annex B and all Trust policies. “Ask where they would prefer to be accommodated… comply immediately.”
If a patient threatens self harm, action has to be taken. Risk reduction is the priority - in the moment the least risky option will be taken. So it is one way of achieving what they want, and transactivists are already adopting this approach (India Willoughby, Steph Richards).

Nothing to stop transvestites being placed in single en-suite rooms on women’s wards under this guidance, as far as I can see.
If so, these men will take priority for a scarce resource usually reserved for the most seriously ill and dying women patients.

You missed out the obvious classism towards children who live in a deprived area and are clearly a deprived class. The bigoted and ruthless punch down from the professional, political and media classes to discredit and shame the girls was clear to see. It also was a micro lesson on how 250 thousand plus White working class girls were ignored, shamed, bullied and intimidated into silence and perpetuated their long term abuse via the grooming gangs. Those SAME arrogant dismissals by those SAME arrogant professional, media and political classes encouraged all who could have intervened to look away.
