Regarding Shankar at the Delhi zoo and Rambo at the Mysore Zoo, we at @youthforanimals have sent a petition to the High Powered Committee (HPC) constituted by the Supreme Court of India. Our request is to transfer the two African #elephants to a credible sanctuary in #India

Who’s responsible for this cruelty? @SMungantiwar ji @mieknathshinde ji
Videos show Sangamner range, Ahmednagar forest division officials barbarically capturing a leopard, in blatant violation of the Wildlife Protection Act & NTCA guidelines. Four leopards caught in 10 days—this is unscientific and worsens man-animal conflict. Stop these barbaric practices! Investigate and hold officials accountable. @MahaForest @moefcc @byadavbjp ji please intervene 🙏🏻

A SAD DAY FOR DEMOCRACY
On 8th day of fast, 61 people doing a Moun Vrat on Ekadashi to #SaveLadakh #SaveHimalayas were forcibly detained.
We were told BNSS 163 (144) prohibitory orders were permanently applied in entire New Delhi district. This I think is against the spirit of the constitution of India aricle 19- freedom of speech & movement.
Firstly continuous application and 2ndly is it 'reasonable' to use it on people fasting peacefully!!!
What do you think. Do please advise in comments.

I salute these mainstream media channels that have shown some spine and covered the Ladakh issue.
I hope this will shake the conscience of the others too.

A beautiful animal standing there TOTALLY broken amidst all those jeering heartless humans 💔 We're not “humankind”. We're certainly not the superior species we like to think we are. There's no place in a civilized society for barbaric “traditions” & behaviour. #ChooseCompassion

EXCITING NEWS! Asia’s first animatronic empathy-building elephant, Ellie, voiced by me, was launched at Mumbai’s @JamnabaiNarsee. She will visit schools across the country to teach youngsters that kindness to elephants means letting them live free 🐘💚🌏🕊️

P.S- it is giving voice to campaigns like these that makes being an artist the biggest joy🙏🏻
