Yep I agree beginning of november to around Thanksgiving are the dates I'm watching closely for an update.
If any of this is true, will be a great time to pickup discounts in true ai powerhouses as we transition to photonics computing beginning in 2028. Yes, copper transistor model is not the way and clearly cannot scale. Something better is brewing and it just needs time to materialize. Let the investors FUD it and then scoop up for the next wave where Ai is 50 times more powerful with 100 times less power required. Enjoy the ride. It always gets better after getting worse.
My predictions over the following months:
1. Stock market will get hurt bad when the music stops on data centers, models, and chips.
Too much froth, too high of investment, too many companies will fail. The switching costs are low. I don't know how these companies will become profitable. Its a mega bubble.
The rest of the economy is already in a deep recession. Real pain will set in when the public markets dive.
2. Power is the bottleneck.
AI is burning an absurd amount of power. The cost of electricity is skyrocketing which is making the cost of everyday life more expensive and hurting quality of life. I'm against data centers because of the power, not the water.
The grid is extremely fragile and the weakness will be exposed in the coming months.
3. Subsidies are skewing the market.
AI isn't cheap. The prices to use it are artificially low because of subsidies all the way up the chain.
You pay $20 or $200 a month but the true costs are 10x That spread is venture capital money being incinerated at scale.
When they raise the price, the users will disappear and investors will hold the bag.
3. A big security breach is coming.
A bank, a certain model, something is going to rock our world.
People are letting bots log in to their banks, their email and everything else. Big trouble coming.
4. Grokbot is exceptional.
Its the first model that is adding significant value to my everyday life. I don't know why anybody would use a different personal assistant.
5. AI is insanely high maintenance
Billions are being poured into training the next model. They day it comes out its already behind. China has cheaper electricity and more chips.
The chips they bought will be obsolete in 18 months.
Companies are stuck paying big money every month to maintain and update all of their AI tools. Its a mess.
6. The power companies will renege on their deals.
Political pressure will unwind all the unsustainable power deals these data centers and LLMs have negotiated.
Power costs will explode. Then comes the choice:
Do we jack up costs for our AI / compute and watch everybody switch to the next model or do we incinerate more VC capital? Nobody wins.
7. Credit will be the first domino to fall.
Data centers are already struggling to finance the GPUs over 10 years when they will be obsolete in 18 months. We'll end up with a shit load of half built data centers who can't negotiate power rates or buy chips because nobody will let them borrow money.
The money will get cold feet as soon as the markets tank and the show will be over.
8. It'll be a dark, dark period in economic markets.
The people who own assets that make real money (real estate or businesses) will win.
The people who plan ahead and avoid massive leverage will win.
The people with cash on their balance sheet will accumulate more assets and generate exceptional wealth.

Don't listen to me. I'm just a bear. Not investment advice. Good luck!

Arthur Hayes closed his positions ~$22m including 6,400 ETH. says he's sitting on the sidelines til macro clears up

nobody knows what the prices are going to so. the guys with billions are guessing too - don't let the day to day uncertainty cloud your long term positions.
If you're curious about what the Harvard models are saying about the vote for next Tuesday. P.S. ai is incredible now.

Microsoft is offering buyouts to 60,000 workers. This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce. This is a big number.
People in US, Canada, India, and the UK at VP level and below will be eligible. Eligible teams include Windows & Devices, CoreAI, Copilot, Xbox, finance, HR, and selected other teams
This is part of the company’s efforts to cut costs amid AI adoption.
Congratulations Pulsechain and HEX community. We are now officially back to the early days of HEX and exactly what it was like investing in the beginning. All of mainstream thought we're a scam and the dumbest people out there in crypto. If you made it this far you're now experiencing what its like to be in HEX in the very beginning. This is where champions are made though. This is where your research shines and where you will continue to be tested and laughed at mocked etc. Stay strong stay vigilant and if you know your facts you will make it through this phase as well. Have a beautiful day as always. $hex #hex #pulsechain $pls
Yep 💯 it’s good though. I believe we needed this to happen in all honesty. You don’t wanna win with people who don’t believe in it and were here for the wrong reasons plus they didn’t pay attention to any of the principles the community reflects. At least, I personally don’t want to win with people like that. We still have some to flush out unless they wanna stick around and just FUD which I’m convinced no amount of boredom, anger, situations or FUD will get some of them out. Now we just need to figure out where the true bottom is. A nibble here and there until we get a real pump out of these levels that becomes sustainable for multiple months. In my opinion, a real catalyst though will have to be in place for that to happen and broader market moves.
Hmm 🤔 👀
This may be my last tweet before shit goes down. I’m an AI researcher whistleblower. I work for one of the biggest labs in the world. There is currently a major cyber attack going on for days attacking US electrical grids. They are hiding this from the public. We are on the verge of a potential disaster that will make Covid look like a playground. Prepare for the worst
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No reports from CISA, DOE, NERC or major outlets confirm a major ongoing cyber attack on US electrical grids being hidden. Outages are at routine low levels (~30k customers). Real threats exist but not this claimed disaster.

Wait...do people really believe pulsechain was being ran by a few computers on a shelf in Richard's closet?
