Telling a boy he must be feminine to be himself, or telling a girl that femininity makes her a woman, just gives old-fashioned stereotypes a shiny new coat of paint.
Women are not a collection of personality traits, clothes and interests. We are human beings of the female sex.
We really shouldn't have to explain this in 2026.

Loudly for those having tantrums about the NHS *finally* obeying the law, some 16 years on, and providing women with necessary, separate, single sex spaces. This is partly why. I dare you to tell us you don't agree it should.
I first raised this report by @JoPhoenix1 for @WomensRightsNet in spring 2023 at PMQs. Since then we've had 5 Health Secretaries, a Supreme Court clarification of The Equality Act 2010, and simple EHRC guidance.
