🚨🚨HUGE GOP CORRUPTION: Yet another high ranking Republican official has been ensnared in a corruption scandal, and this one has landed him behind bars for an eye-popping maximum sentence of 20 years!
Ohio House Speaker Larry Lee Householder was found guilty of running a $60 bribery scheme, the largest such scheme in the history of the state.
Householder attempted to take $60 million from FirstEnergy Corp in exchange for his support of legislation that would bail out the company to the tune of $1 billion dollars. The legislation was passed after he became Speaker.
U.S. District Judge Timothy Black admonished Householder, calling him "a bully with a lust for power" and adding that “The court and the community’s patience for Mr. Householder has passed."
Republicans often claim to want to "drain the swamp" but we often learn that the swamp is located right in their own back yards.
Do you believe having Donald Trump as the leader of their party is the primary reason for so many in their ranks being indicted and convicted for corruption, or do you think there is an equal amount of wrongdoing in both parties?

America is the only superpower in the world right now. Rep Greene wishes we weren't so that she could fearmonger more of her constituents.
The same way she wants America to default on its debt to ruin our economy.
All she cares about is her team scoring points, not America.

BREAKING: FOX “News” and Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy are humiliated as the Republican-led House Ethics Committee announces that its 2-year investigation into California Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell found “no wrongdoing” on Congressman Swalwell’s part when he briefly met a woman who turned out to possibly be a Chinese spy.
The investigation found that Swalwell acted properly when he immediately ended the relationship and cooperated with the FBI upon finding out.
That’s right. House Republicans wasted million dollars of taxpayer dollars on a nothing-burger cooked up by the propagandists at FOX “News” — and Congressman Swalwell ended up being totally cleared by their own investigation today.
Swalwell just responded to the announcement:
“Nearly ten years ago, I assisted the FBI in their counterintelligence investigation of a campaign volunteer. The case and my assistance were briefed to Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner, and two years later, Republican Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, re-appointed me to the House Intelligence Committee. Neither Speaker questioned my actions nor politicized my cooperation. Despite the FBI repeatedly saying I was nothing but helpful and never accused of wrongdoing, this complaint was filed by a House Republican. ... If the intent in bringing this complaint and leveling false smears was to silence me that is not going to happen. I will continue to be a voice on behalf of my constituents and a passionate defender of democracy."
Please RT and ❤️ if you’re glad that Congressman Swalwell ended up getting the final laugh on Speaker Kevin McCarthy and FOX “News” — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new Twitter growing competitor that is growing like wildfire because it’s the opposite of Elon Musk’s MAGA Twitter. Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account, but he hasn’t yet banned this link to download the new Tribel app: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

David Shafer, chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, organized a group of “contingent” electors from Georgia following the 2020 election. He says he was following advice from President Trump, therefore should not be charged with any crimes for his actions. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis notified all 16 GOP fake Georgia electors including Shafer that they are targets in her investigation.
I’ve read most of the books listed. WTF? This is crazy. They don’t want us to read handmaids tale because it’s the direction they’re taking women…..But the Bible with rape, murder, incest, slavery, torture, sacrifice, misogyny and murder is ok?

Today Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene called for more mental hospitals and drug rehab centers to be funded by the federal and state governments.
I find it a bit strange that she’s making these calls after being just one of 20 members of Congress who voted against the bipartisan ‘Restoring Hope for Mental Health and Well-Being Act’ that would bolster access to crisis care, provide millions of dollars in grants for community mental health services, and reauthorize making high-quality housing and services available that would be dedicated to substance abuse recovery.
The bill passed the House 402 - 20 and MTG was one who voted against it.
Why?
What should be done about mental health problems in America? I’d love to hear your opinions.
