Everyone needs to know what actually happened in Serbia. Instead of students just protest against their government, the students organized themselves into a student list and ran in elections against their government—and they have just won. Dear Serbia, congratulations on your victory; you have just opened a new door in protesting. This is history

Good grief. Listening to the panel on @lbc. Total denial of the severity of the climate crisis or that we are in a drought, it’s going to get worse, the world is about to go through something unprecedented. Total denial of Covid, the catastrophic failure to listen to experts warning at the time that we were failing - and total denial that children and young people and all of us are still catching this virus over and over again, a virus that damages the heart, the brain, increases the risk of strokes, damages the immune system and so on - even with mild infections. The establishment screw everything, then deny they were ever warned, deny that anything bad has happened or is coming, even when it’s right in front of our eyes.

When I talk to people about the ongoing impact of COVID, I find it helpful to lead with a concrete, undeniable indicator, which is that there are about 3,000,000 more disabled workers in the US than at pandemic onset.
PMC COVlD Update, Week of Oct 12, 2026 (Posted 48 hrs early) 🔸Levels revised upward for a double-peak 🔸39-state outbreak (see ALT) 🔸PMC estimates 750,000 new daily infections, & 1 in 65 people actively infectious 🔸1st time starting Oct w/rising levels since 2020 1/🧵

Brilliant pushback from all the toxicity and takedowns over the past week 💚
Today I spoke to Matthew Wright on @lbc about how Zack has transformed the Green Party into an electoral force that is pushing Labour hard in some of its safest seats. We tripled our vote share whilst Labour's fell but it also says a lot that we are disappointed because that's the level of our ambition. Losing any election is disappointing and more so now because Zack has given us a winning mindset but look how far the green party has come in 12 months under his leadership. It's remarkable and as Andy Burnham collides with reality our green ascendancy will continue.

We warned everyone 20 years ago - SARS is carcinogenic, neuroinvasive and destroys the immune system. Death of SARS Survivors occured 5-10 yrs after the #MECFS stage due to early onset of; strokes, AD, PD, MS or cancer. #LongCOVID is #AirborneAIDS so #WearN95
Replying to @RealCheckMarker
We already have the historical warning signs. Long-term longitudinal studies on 2003 SARS Survivors tracked cohorts for years. The data revealed that metabolic disorders, chronic fatigue, and distinct immune anomalies simply failed to ever return to a pre-infection baseline. 10/

Keep in mind the technology can be extended for other viruses. So is there a visionary person or corporation who grasps the need for this device and has the resources to fund this? Please spread the word to potential sources or send me suggestions. /fin medicalxpress.com/news/2026-…

I’ve started naming long Covid as a form of “viral sepsis” to everyone now…but it especially helps business leaders to understand the immediate and systemic risk of repeated infections, to their employees and organisation
FYI, "Most people who die of COVID-19, seasonal flu, or a bacterial infection technically die of sepsis – their organs shut down under the weight of the body's own runaway inflammatory response.. In-hospital sepsis mortality [in the US] rose 37.5% among patients 65 and older, and 44% among adults 18–64, between 2019 and 2021. The steepest relative jump in sepsis mortality was among younger adults.. An estimated 36,000 sepsis deaths occurred in 2020 alone, beyond what pre-pandemic trends would have predicted.. Post-sepsis syndrome – lasting cognitive and physical effects seen in up to half of survivors – extends the true cost of pandemic-driven sepsis well beyond the initial hospitalisation, in much the same way long COVID has.. sepsis was formally coded in only about 9% of COVID deaths, while clinical and autopsy studies find sepsis present in 52–93% of those same deaths. The official numbers understate the true toll – by the data's own admission." Long COVID is similar to long sepsis. ⚠️Schon 30 #MECFS Todesfälle 2026! Dunkelziffer unbekannt!

Does everyone understand the implications of this? What it means for the future state of population health?
Do Covid infections weaken the immune system making you more vulnerable to other infections? Even covid infections that seem mild and don't kill you during the acute stage? Here's deaths caused by 'other viral diseases' as a share of all deaths here:
