Saying "no new housing unless it's Affordable housing" is essentially saying screw everyone who earns too much to qualify for subsidized or deed restricted housing but not enough to afford market-rate homes. It’s your teachers, nurses, firefighters, small business owners & more.

Talarico: "I also want to work with the president on housing. He's a builder and we need to cut the red tape, the regulation that sometimes my party has been guilty of so that we can build millions of new homes in this country. I also agree with the president on the need to legalize marijuana."

Three months ago, when Haley barely lost a hard-fought primary and then immediately endorsed @AbdulElSayed, she had an incredibly bright future in Michigan politics, whether Abdul won or lost.
Instead, she's decided to light it all on fire in the final hours of the campaign.

Stevens says she’s for investing in Black owned businesses. “And that’s the policy that Mike’s going to take on,” Stevens says.

Where in America can new homes get permitted and built fastest? And are we getting faster or slower over time?
In a new paper with @leonardo_damico and Audrey Wang, we show cities like Raleigh typically *finish* construction before cities like San Francisco even approve it.

Tonight's Kornacki cam stream was worth it just to hear him say the old rhyme about Lynn. A true Massachusetts native. Lynn, Lynn, city of sin. You never come out the way you went in.

With Jonathan Kreiss-Tompkins now having a good chance at winning Alaska Gov, I’d like to STRONGLY recommend this 2018 article about how JKT helped architect the Dem-led coalition w/ Indies & Rs that’s controlled the state House since 2016 (minus 23-24).

Today, Julia and I are suspending our campaign and endorsing Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins for Governor of Alaska.
More than 34,000 Alaskans put their trust in us, and thousands more gave their time, energy, and support to this campaign. We will never forget that.
What we built together does not end here. The work continues, and so does our commitment to building a better future, made in Alaska.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us and for being part of this campaign.

An incredible story. The Iranian Christian woman who wrote “help” on the glass on the hotel in Panama has finally found permanent safety; in Canada.
The Trump admin deported her to Panama soon after taking office, rather than let her seek asylum. Read her story 👇
Every once in a while a story you write as a journalist changes someone's life. A Canadian couple read our profile of Artemis Ghasemzadeh, the Iranian Christiane convert deported to Panama by Trump admin. They mobilized, against all odds, and brought her to Canada.

Ossoff: When you step back and consider it, the situation is absurd. Tech titans dig bunkers and warn us the new intelligence they’re training could lead to mass joblessness or human extinction, while our Congress debates ballrooms and youth sports.
We’ve amassed enough firepower to end the world 1,000 times over, but we can’t summon the will to guarantee health care and pre-K. I say all this to say, but it’s the crushing weakness of our politics, against the unmet needs of our people and the massive stakes of our times, that’s shaking our faith in the future.
But Atlanta, I refuse to leave my girls a world as dark and dangerous and cruel as this one threatens to become.
When Eva is old enough to ask me why I let this happen. I'm determined to answer truthfully, that I didn’t
