Comfy Router is live
One API for frontier image, video, 3D, and audio models.
Same model string. Same arguments. No new SDK, no new key, no redeploy.
What Comfy Router gives you:
→ Explicit routing. You name the provider, we call that provider. It's down? The request fails there. No silent fallback.
→ Every job returns the provider that ran it. Log it, bill it, debug it.
→ Async. submit() returns a request ID immediately. The queue retries 429s and transient errors until a slot opens. subscribe() submits and polls to completion.
→ Batch-friendly. Queue a few hundred jobs, hold the IDs, pull results as they land. Nothing blocking on a 5-min video render.
→ 24h retention on inputs and outputs, then deleted.
→ Comfy credits. No sub, no Router fee.
Providers at launch: Comfy. Runware, Wavespeed, Fal, Higgsfield. Multi-provider where the model supports it.

1. evaluate what your company actually needs (users, awareness, revenue)
2. choose a growth channel that best supports that
don't get sucked into the purgatory of chasing every hype marketing strategy

this is what companies get wrong.
we never clipped our product. we clipped roy's podcasts, youtube long-form videos, skits, and whatever else we had.
the whole notion of "clipping" means to take bite-sized clips of longer form content to make them digestible.

When you’re clipping you’re not clipping your product, you’re clipping long videos that are fun to watch into short clips
this was probably one of the most expensive and least effective bets we made at the time looking back.
was okay brand awareness and everyone was glazing this strategy at the time but realistically wasn’t worth the money poured into it.
99% of companies will never use this strat because you don’t have enough content to even clip and no one’s as interesting of a founder or person as Roy.
the average founder is boring and not worth clipping.
was a solid experiment though to see if clipping could work or not for startups the same way it works for streamers.
