I still have yet to get a good answer to why Lyon County is so blue?

People will call this poll garbage and complain about how its impossible for Turek to be up and Acton to be down and then be the same ones complaining about a lack of polls and herding. This is why! Aside from the fact that polling is very expensive, pollsters don't wanna bother polling anymore cause y'all don't actually want polls y'all want a modeled prediction!

The GOP’s propaganda war has worked
In a new poll, 15% of Americans said they believe between 1 and 5% of NCAA athletes are transgender. 14% think between it's between 6 and 25%. Meanwhile, an NCAA spokesperson confirmed that the current number is "effectively" zero thebulwark.com/p/new-poll-bu…

The late September early October polls may very well be more accurate than what we have now given everyone snd their mother is hedging, herding, and putting up the most atrocious LV screens ever seen

It turns out trying to take away black folks representation made them angry.
Starting to sound like a broken record, but primary turnout in SC’s Black-majority counties was 6 points above the statewide rate. Hampton County’s two-party turnout swung 36 points from 2024. Black turnout intensity from the primaries seems to be carrying over to the general.

It’s Likely D sorry
The delta here is extremely concerning for AES. Granted, most polls show a substantially smaller underperformance, but if he does 10 points worse than Benson he likely loses. This race is a clear tossup, and I would not be shocked at all if Rogers were to win.

Does LA have an important ballot measure up about Governor term limits?
Louisiana could end up with a D+4 EV electorate due to Black turnout outperforming their *population share* of 30% and hitting generational levels @LaDemos GOTV operation should be the story of the nation this EV cycle!!

Quinnipiac's last GB estimate was D+12, that they aren't doing another shows they aren't actually confident.
Pollsters aren't confident at all, and given how favorable polls have been for Democrats, it's reasonable to doubt the "blue wave".

Any coincidence that we are on the edge of a blue wave and all of these pollsters are too scared to publish a final poll? They don’t dare trust data they found. Only the right wing pollsters will flood the zone. Prepare for a glut of Trafalgar, Ras, Insider, Quantus, co/eff.

I know we're not supposed to read anything into early vote data, but in EV Dems are turning out much more than Reps. So more likely polls are understating Dems.
It reinforces the idea that pollsters are terrified about overestimating Ds, which is consistent with the underlying hypothesis of FLIPR that the direction of polling error is hard to predict, but also increases the chance that polls will be way off in some direction or another.

Marist and Fox (Beacon & Shaw) are clearly getting RV results that don’t fit their own priors, so they cook up very pro-Republican LV screens to herd their top line LV numbers into a more believable and non-outlier range. The RV to LV margins shouldn’t shift more than a few points! I’ve never seen pollsters play these weird games with their LV screens being used to unskew their own response bias from their RV sample. It’s odd!
