Trying to address the misinformation surrounding EFC’s PSR breach and our finances, and other random opinions

TFG are our owners for now - they’ve partly addressed some of our funding issues - they seem to realise it’s best to try and employ the best CEO & Manager you can and then leave them to do their job -they will use every accounting trick they can

Hull & Ipswich also have 10 points This seems to be a season where there is no easy matches. Yet I keep hearing we had an easy start.

10 points from 8 Only 5 teams have more than 11 Freefall?

Do you realise we are in free fall and will be near the drop zone by December 3rd?

Fair assessment of the individual games But only 7 teams have won more games. - there’s no easy games - few teams are truly dominant often (just look at Brighton’s xG) Plenty to criticise. But it has to be done in the context of the league.

There’s a lot to criticise at the moment But there’s also reasons to be positive. Harrison’s involvement is one.
Harrison Armstrong is one of just three teenagers across the Premier League to start every game so far this season. 👏 Great to see, Harrison. 💙

18 months ago @Benjwinst was telling me to stop questioning the over the top positivity around Moyes He now goes on the attack when I question the over the top negativity, Maybe one day he and his mates will think about that. And the impact it has on the fanbase & club
I’d say people like yourself are the problem with narcisstic traits. But each to their own 🙏🏼

Ben “Narcissistic” 🤔
They give their opinions like you, trying to tell others how to voice their opinions is incredibly narcissistic

Hasn’t he used every outfield player so far? This is my point. Deliberately choosing to make things negative. He’s far from perfect, But he’s using the squad more this season.
Moyes probably wouldn't play 2 of those players if he had them. He doesn't make the most of the (small) squad he has. Everton's squad isn't great, but then don't compound that by not being willing to use a chunk of them.

One half chance (if that) that forced a good save
Thierno Barry keeps missing chances for Everton. But should that make them give up on him? I compared last season, this season and his numbers against Premier League strikers to work out what Everton actually have. The answer is interesting 👇 buff.ly/M4gCqqT

Perfect example of what’s happening now Let’s choose the stars that show the club in a bad position And criticise anyone that chooses a more positive spin. “But we’re only stating our opinion”

Everton’s home form only looks strong if you isolate this season’s four games: 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat, over the last 12 months in the PL: 19 home games, 6 wins, 4 draws, 9 defeats, 22 points and a -3 goal difference. That’s 14th for home points among the current 20.

Same goes for Man Utd btw, watch a sample of their games from 1994, 1999, 2004, 2008, 2012 and tell me what their 'playing style' was Its why their ex players struggle to explain it beyond attacking, with pace and with wingers
I'd argue the challenge for EFC is that their 'DNA' is predominantly psycho-social,cultural. So how do you recruit to that? How does the data find it? Quantify it? What is the 'playing style' that reflects that?

The “analyst” community (Or whatever you want to call them) Love to criticise every aspect of the club. Hate to have their views challenged. They could be a force for good. At the moment they’re choosing to lead the hate mob.
It’s time for all the Everton “analysts” to stop and look around @TacticallyMatt @Progression1878 @ScoutTom_ @greenallefc @PatricRidge and others The recruitment isn’t right The squad isn’t strong Many are out of form The tactics are dull The in game decisions are poor Etc

There’s very little analysis about how the league is changing We’ve only lost 1 of our 4 away games. Yet 15 teams have more points.
Only 3 teams have more points at home Arsenal, City, Brighton 15 teams have more points away* * one of only 4 teams yet to win away

The PL is changing Promoted sides have found a way to compete We’re not the only “big club” that’s lost its way The “smart” clubs are struggling to compete on all fronts Tactics are changing & clubs are struggling to adapt It’s not all about how crap we are.

Stop and look at the league table Yes you’ve all raised great points about how the club could be run better. But you miss how competitive the league is and how many issues every other club has

A huge factor in football is confidence You are all undermining the confidence & leading the fanbase into hysteria That has never worked out well for us Keep making your points, if you want. But try and keep perspective.

Manager is underperforming away (has been his strongest point until recently) Only 3 teams have more points at home. Won 5 of last 10 home games (all competitions How can that possibly be underperforming?
I think reality is, as many have said Everton are just stuck now until ownership is sorted Manager is underperforming, but so are majority of the squad. Sad truth is just about getting by until new owners come in, whilst Hoping they’re the right ones.
