UPDATE: I *was* upset about it. Now I'm having a laugh. "Some unfortunate lady." I'll get that engraved on my tombstone, thank you very much. Thanks for the perspective, everyone. You're the best! 💕

Anyway, last week I saw my dad for the first time in 8 years. We watched The OA together because I told him it had saved me. We cried together, talked late into the night. The night he left, he wanted me to start teaching him the movements. Measure THAT. #SaveTheOA #CancelNetflix

Dear @netflix, It's over. You don't put enough effort into us anymore. You got so much of my time, tears, laughs, loyalty, & dedication. But you let me down when I needed you. So, I have to move on even if it hurts. PS. #SaveTheOA and we'll give it one more try. #CancelNetflix

Can we just talk about representation in The OA? I’m going to specifically focus on disability and mental health. So often, media “throws in” a character w/ physical or mental issues seemingly as an afterthought #TheOA

OA Tribe, do not let negative feedback get you down. Come at negativity with love. Many people are sick in a world not conducive to positive and healthy thoughts. They don't understand their own ability for goodness. Help them. #TheOAisReal #GreenOA

It’s helped me deal with 17 years worth of pent up, long buried grief and anger from my brother’s death. It’s so much more than a show.#SaveTheOA #TheOAisReal #TheOA @netflix @z_al @britmarling @BrandonPerea @ianaIexander @jasonsfolly

People who need help but can't get it. People who look at the screen, see something resembling themselves or their struggle and their pain, and find comfort in it. People like me.

#SaveTheOA but also #savetheamazon because it's burning & it's f*cking terrifying. I wish I could jump to a dimension where people in power actually gave a crap about the future of the earth, wildlife & our finite resources 😭🐙🌍

🐙As someone who studied brain science, I can absolutely confirm that stories are one of the most powerful tools humans have in life. Powerful enough stories even have the potential to shape culture and law. And in a world full of bland stories, we need the most powerful to stay

The reason Netflix can boldly cancel our favorite shows is because they think subscribers and fans will suck it up and continue paying for it to watch other content. Well, they need to be proved wrong. #CancelNetflix or #savetheOA

@The_OA won't return for a third season on @netflix so I canceled my account. I can’t justify spending that much money every month to have shows I love canceled over and over #CancelNetflix teapawt.net/i/events/1158422308865…
