I’ve never bought into the whole “woke right” concept but if it’s a real thing, it seems to apply most to those promoting it, since they are the ones laser-focused on cancelling and deplatforming for wrongthink.

Walter Kirn: Everything that happens before the election is a PSYOP.
KIRN: “Everything that happens, the polling, the rumors, the word of mouth, the social media posts, the trends, the little anecdotes that get repeated and go viral. Everything is subordinate to that election. And none of it is true in and of itself. It's all instrumental.”
“Not only don't I trust the polls, I do trust the polls. I trust them to be nudging people in all the ways that polls can for all the people who can pay for polls.”
“The news now is all about behavior modification. It's not about truth.”
For the next week, every poll or viral story you see, don't ask if it's true. Ask what it's trying to get you to do.

Hey @lyft , what gives. Is it now your policy to eject female and disabled passengers because the driver doesn't approve of them? This is reprehensible.
And demanded we exit the car. I Portland, on a dark street. I called !
@lyft support while the driver called 911 twice & claimed we were drunk. None of us had one drop of alcohol, we just didn't want to be left and had someone who could not walk far, on a dark street. 2/n

I just voted for James Talarico in Texas because “the trans community needs abortion care too.”
This is the number one issue facing America today.

France has FREE health care, paid parental leave, paid family leave, FREE child care, FREE preschool, 5 weeks paid vacation, a 35 hour work week, generous unemployment and housing benefits, and heavily subsidized higher education.
Everything the left says they want AND THEY'RE STILL PROTESTING AND BURNING SHIT DOWN.

I’m excited to rejoin the Gender Critical Law Society, which I co-founded with retired judge @ebclaw in 2024.
GCLS is a network of lawyers and law students in the US who oppose rights based on "gender identity." Some of us fight the trans agenda full time; others contribute pro bono or behind the scenes. It’s a diverse group in terms of ideology, age, location, and professional background.
Since 2024 we've advocated against compelled pronoun use in court, testified against a "gender identity" bill, worked on each other’s projects, and supported members dealing with intolerant colleagues. Our groupchat is awesome. Our legal memo against compelled pronoun use in court can be adapted to any jurisdiction. Link⏬
If you’re a gender-critical lawyer or law student in the US, join us! The sign-up link is in the QT.

From East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Mary would have gotten trans’ed nowadays but her good Uncle Tom was a TERF.

Wow, what's it like being totally wrong? My toddler keeps trying to live in the dishwasher. I'm not going to cater to that because it's insane, and because I'm the adult.

I think I may have just been misgendered but I'm not sure because I've actually lost track of what gender I'm currently using. Should I still call the Police?

Excellent explanation of the current outrageous lawfare being perpetrated against @bourne_beth2345 in California because she won’t shut up about the horrors of gender identity ideology.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with her, @bourne_beth2345 is an outspoken critic of the harms of gender ideology on kids who has ruffled the feathers—to put it mildly—of many of her liberal neighbors in the college town of Davis, California. That some of them want to silence her isn’t surprising. That the District Attorney’s office is helping them is.
Beth is currently facing two misdemeanor counts of contempt of court for violating a temporary restraining order. The basis appears to be two social media posts that contain a video taken while she was being served, along with some commentary about the circumstances behind the order. The order is a matter of public record, and the restraining order doesn’t attempt to prevent her from discussing it.
The order was obtained by a woman on behalf of herself and her children, none of whom Beth had ever had contact with. The underlying incident was an argument between Beth and the children’s daycare provider in a public park while the children were playing in the area. Having obtained the order, the woman appeared to see it as a license to police Beth’s online speech. When the police told her they couldn’t arrest Beth for her posts, she returned to court and asked that the order be modified to force Beth to remove 22 posts that related to the incident in some way.
Yesterday the judge ruled that two had to come down within 30 days, both predating the order, because the children appear briefly in the background. The other 20—including the two underlying the criminal charges—were found not to violate the order.
So the judge who wrote the order believes these posts don’t violate it, but the District Attorney nevertheless expects a jury to find beyond a reasonable doubt that the judge doesn’t understand his own order? Make it make sense!
If the charges aren’t dropped, it’s hard to read this as anything but a deliberate effort to chill Beth’s free speech.
Happy to be partnering with @MurdockJDF to ensure that this unjust prosecution goes nowhere.

This lawfair against @bourne_beth2345 is truly insane. Learn about “Fair Gaming” in Scientology and you will recognize exactly what the malicious Trans cult in Davis and Yolo County are doing to Beth.
The Yolo County DA charged @bourne_beth2345 with contempt for violating a TRO, presumably for posting a video briefly showing the TRO. Yesterday, the judge ruled that Beth's posts with the video could stay up. Here's my letter to the DA demanding dismissal.

Dismiss these insane charges. Prosecutors are supposed to be nonpartisan.

Being trans isn’t a mental illness, so mentally ill people can’t be trans, and no predator would pretend to be trans so trans predators aren’t trans, and all trans people are being their authentic selves unless their authentic self is a rapist in which case they’re pretending.
These charges against Beth were bogus from the get go. Now it’s super clear that they need to be dismissed. STAT
