england.nhs.uk/national-infe… Now available - guidance for NHS hospitals on the new HCID PPE ensemble, which offers optimised protection against HCID pathogens. It's called 'HCID Assessment PPE' as it will be used mostly for assessing and caring for patients suspected to have HCIDs.
Really looking forward to inviting speakers and attendees to the #SheffieldVSM we have a great programme lined up for the Virology Scientific Meeting 2024.

Saddened by this. On a personal level Baroness Masham showed compassion and empathy to my wife when she was ill and helped raise important issues in the House of Lords. A caring and considered peer.
Saddened to read of the death of Baroness Masham the longest serving female peer.
A fierce defender of the NHS one of her last contributions was criticising pension taxation and its effect on #retention in @DaviesofBrixton debate last month.

This week we trained 16 ID specialists from @SheffieldHosp, @HullHospitals & @LeedsHospitals
in assessment and diagnosis of HCID Suspect cases using @UKHSA guidance. The UV sim course was developed with @H_S_E & provides a quality learning experience.
