To be honest. New wigs need to understand that they are building a career too. Do not allow anyone put you in a situation where the public (potential clients) start to perceive you as incompetent to do anything reason you are used for stuffs like this. And, don't tell me they are senior naw. If you don't respect yourself, no one will. This is not to excuse Seniors who do this, but, I am saying a junior can decorously set boundaries. You will not remain a junior for long. That's how I see myself. And, never be afraid to lose a work/senior behaving this way. A lawyer is an entrepreneur, you can never be jobless. Just be diligent and knowledgeable. Irrespective of when you get a file, please read it before your matter is called. Atleast have a knowledge what the issue is, what happened at the last date, and what the day is for. Thank you.
