ALT To paraphrase a lot of text: a child kept drawing monsters, so his parents took him to some psychologists. He thankfully ended up seeing the one psychologist there who was up on pop culture, who instantly recognised the monsters as popular fictional characters. She looked at his drawings and said "Wait a goddamn second, I know these monsters!" The child's mother then looked at her as if she was somehow in on this private nightmare world. It's a cute anecdote that doesn't give me much faith in adults, except one. Then there's another, similar anecdote involving someone's obsession with biblical angels, which again she recognised.
