The Jacksonville Jaguars window is this year. They have two future head coaches at both coordinator spots in OC Grant Udinski & DC Anthony Campinele.
We’ve seen how difficult it is to replace coordinators in the following years—from the lions, 49ers, and Rams.
I don’t think there is a player at the QB position alive playing better ball right now than Trevor Lawrence. The run game is cooking, and this defense is LEGIT.
Will they make a move at the trade deadline?

Ben Johnson is elite at the art of play calling. This is different than standing in front of the chalk board to install. This requires feel for a game. I've never bought the notion that once the game plan has been made, "anybody can call it, most of the work has been done". This is one of the biggest fallacies in football.

"Will there ever be a time in the near future where we see the departure of the team's offensive line coach and run-game coordinator in Cole Popovich after another season in which his unit has ranked bottom-five in the NFL in several major statistical categories?"
My thoughts in a write-up on the job security of Texans' OL coach and run-game coordinator Cole Popovich after the firings of both Panthers DC Ejiro Evero/ DPGC Jonathan Cooley and Saints RGC T.J. Paganetti.

Texans OT Trent Brown is always insightful and one of my favorite players to chat with.
We talked about the bye week, what this 2 and 5 Texans team needs to do moving forward and why he has such high praise for QB C.J. Stroud.
Here’s our conversation.

So I did this thing today...
The Texans are on a bye week, had to pay off this week 1 bet eventually, right?
I try to be a man of my word @BrandonRayNFL 🤣🤣🤣
Full edited video coming in a bit. The only question I have now is, am I honorary Bills Mafia, now @BuffaloBills?
Also, here's looking at you @SeanTPendergast 😅

If this was a 7 man blitz To’oTo’o is way too late but he should be the man on Fidone on this. Instead, he gets lost and tries to rush McCarthy leaving a coverage gap for Fidone.

I suspect this big play on the TE leak is on Henry To’oTo’o.
Could be wrong, but this looks like Cover 1. Appears MJ Stewart and Azeez are playing in-and-out on Likely, with Stewart responsible for the flat once Likely releases inside.
Henry never gets eyes on Fidone leaking out. At the very least, you'd like to see him recognize it and alert the other defenders.

Marvin Harrison Jr. has flashed early in his Texans tenure and has been heavily targeted in his offensive snaps so far.
With him more involved offensively coming out of the bye, Houston can move around Nico Collins more which I wrote about in here.
NEW: What to Make of the Texans Offense Heading Into Their Bye.
- Some insight into their WR room without Jaylin Noel.
- C.J. Stroud excellent start.
- Inconsistent run game & offensive line play.
- More!

Breaking: Texans WR Jaylin Noel is expected to miss the rest of the season, a source told the @HoustonChron.
This is a significant blow for the Texans.
