“But but but suspensions don’t improve the behavior of the suspended kid!” Maybe… maybe… However, suspensions DO send a signal to every other kid that such behavior won’t be tolerated and provides the 29 other kids reprieve from chaos

Arizona any thoughts?!?
YES! Over 500 school districts and only 114 counties is cra-zy and wasteful. Time for some district unification so we can right size our administrative growth and pay teachers more. #moleg

Scottsdale Prep families have you heard art teacher Michael Petiford is telling the class he’s so good at art he can draw with Vaseline & Soap? If you don’t think that’s odd check out Mr Petiford’s social media his students have seen. Has he shared his political views in class?

Now if every state did the same!
A report released Saturday by @Open_the_Books revealed that more than $225 million in taxpayer dollars was stolen through fraud in the public school system over a seven-year period. Thank you to @GovMikeKehoe and @VP for their support alongside @HouseGOP to root out fraud, hold those responsible accountable, and protect hardworking American taxpayers from abuse.

👀 For those of you in AZ, 🌵🏜️ look no further than @PeoriaUnified11. When a board member, @ThePeoriaMom, tried to bring forward an investigation to identify the adults in the district who knew about abuse and didn’t report it to police, her fellow board members @JeffTobey_PUSD, @Melissa4PUSD and @beckyproudfit removed her as President. NOW, these same 3 board members want to investigate @ThePeoriaMom and the district is spending thousands of dollars in legal fees to hide the truth.
"The liberal media don't want to expose that the biggest child predator ring out there is in the school system being protected by the teachers' unions." Teacher Freedom Alliance CEO @RyanWalters_ exposes how school districts and unions quietly shuffle teachers accused of abusing children into neighboring schools to avoid attention: "I don't know how this isn't one of the biggest stories in the country. Again, the reason why is you've got the liberal media bias, of course, and they're in bed with the teachers' unions... They build out these processes and procedures, make [teachers] incredibly difficult to fire. They don't want the headlines. Resigning quietly at a board meeting, signing off on ‘these teachers aren't coming back,’ is a lot better for them than the headlines of, ‘teacher found in these inappropriate situations with multiple children.’ So they just move it on to the next district and hope that it never comes back to bite 'em.”

Schools can’t investigate themselves When schools engage in mental health services, parents lose the ordinary protections of a regulated behavioral health profession - no parental consent to meet that VA school mental health worker means, in this case, the district had no idea who many he abused in his office. And now criminal indictments for failure to report, with evidence of a coverup to protect the school, not the child. This is why mental health is a state regulated health profession, with licensing boards charged with protecting the public health, safety and welfare, not school administrators and staff.
🚨Three @k12albemarle administrators have been arrested and charged, so far, in child sexual abuse scandal -- for failing to report child abuse (VA §63.2-1509) ❌Brodie Downs - Deputy Chief HR Officer ❌Erin Stone - Assistant Counsel & Title IX Coord ❌Joe McCauley - former Hollymead Elementary Principal They are innocent until proven guilty. They were indicted on 10/5 and arrested 10/7 Each faces 3 charges: 2 Class 1 misdemeanors (knowing/intentional failure to report aggravated sexual battery; up to 12 mo. jail + $2,500) 1 lesser failure-to-report (max $500 fine). Released on personal recognizance Link in reply to article discussing the accused "SEL counselor" Michael Swiney, who faces 20 felonies involving 7 girls in 5th grade or younger xitter.cf/CvilleBubble/status/21…

Hey Dems, former President Joe Biden confirmed the second Monday of October as Columbus Day, and recognized Italian Americans, "whose contributions and character have shaped our country’s soul....Today, may we honor the history and heritage of Italian Americans and all that they have done to help realize the full promise of America for generations." Happy Columbus Day, everyone! We celebrate Columbus because without his courage there would not be this nation. I'm proud of my Italian heritage from my mother's side; from immigrants who came to America during ethnic persecution and went west to labor and build. it.usembassy.gov/a-proclamat…

Never a dull moment in @PeoriaUnified11. They will do anything to marginalize @ThePeoriaMom, which makes me wonder: Has Mrs. Rooks just touched the tip of the iceberg? Board Prez Tobey canceled a DEI discussion tonight to bring a complaint against Mrs. Rooks (per Prez Tobey). He seems to have one agenda since taking over this governing board and it doesn't appear to be protecting or educating children. Is the union behind this? Do we all see a pattern all over Arizona? When there is one EFFECTIVE school board member, a loud group will make sure that person is neutered so they can't fulfill their responsibilities. Next to be attacked will be @VoteBowles4PUSD because Prez Tobey is trying to shut her up and she's not having it.

✅ SUSD Board Member on critics of SUSD academics, as he votes to close 2 schools: District is the “Top Performing” in Peer Group for Math and English: Fact check: ❌False SUSD #3 for math (38% fail proficiency test) Tied #2 for ELA (42% fail proficiency test) 👉ESAs didn’t cause this (2025 Auditor General School District Spending Report data file, peer group ranking)
Ordinarily, a county attorney informs a school district it violated the law...and district admits, "Aw shucks, you got me. Won't happen again. Sorry about that." But not Scottsdale. They went full "violation denial" - as in, literally claimed the MCAO never issued an adverse finding. 6 open meeting law violations in 4 years, and denialism is their go-to. That may explain why it keeps happening. ❌ 2026 - closed-door school closure committee ❌ 2025 - deficient board "retreat" meeting agenda ❌ 2023 - closed-door textbook committees ❌ 2023 - closed-door strategic planning committee ❌ 2023 - super's 2x2x1 private board member meetings as "serial" violations to avoid public mtgs ❌ 2022 - content-based restrictions on public comment that shut-down "mask debate" leads to AG lawsuit to remove board president, survives motion to dismiss and proceeds to trial before new AG (without explanation) swiftly agrees to dismiss.

Keep an eye on your local school boards. DVUSD is supposedly a “conservative” board 🙄
.@DVUSD is wanting psychologists in their students' lives, pushing for this to be normal. Union-run districts no longer stay in their lane, which is why many students can't read or write properly. ⤵️

These schools often don't follow state statutes. Don't think there are teeth in most of our great laws. School districts know that, so they skate by and hope nobody watches them. Duly elected Board Member Kim Fisher is being marginalized by the other board members. They are voting to keep her and her alone from professional development opportunities (by charging her for the PD and not the others). Folks, no matter how you feel about one board member or another, government/union schools are on fire. A few people within administration and on governing boards are doing a terrible job while they are on their power trips and spending your money. Those who lean right, don't think Trump is fixing schools, he's not because it's not his job, it's yours. Don't blame the current Occupant of the Ninth Floor. Schools were irresponsible with resources and with YOUR children way before a democrat took her oath. Don't think because you have put your kid in a private or charter, or are using ESAs to homeschool, you no longer have a responsibility to watch these districts. You have chosen to protect your children, but for many reasons, others have continued to enroll their children in these institutions. That is their right, and their children WILL have an effect on your children in the future no matter what education your kids have. These schools often don't follow state statutes. Don't think there are teeth in most of our great laws. School districts know that so they skate by and hope nobody watches them. (And pretty much nobody is watching them). Deer Valley is on the west side, supposedly in a conservative area. Start watching what is going on, get to these meetings, watch what they are spending money on, learn our laws. Same with Gilbert Schools, Higley, on and on. Your "conservative" areas have some of the most liberal boards and curriculum.

🗞️Scottsdale Progress notes public school SUSD now a repeat offender of state transparency laws: Despite 2023 AG's multiple adverse findings against the district, it has "violated laws governing open meetings - again" "The District escaped punishment then - and now."

This is appalling, but all too common on the left. My practice has been the target of similar nonsense for years.
Families absolutely should be off limits in politics. Come at me all you want but once you go after family you’ve crossed the line. Just a couple weeks ago, “Rev” Susan Shumway’s campaign worker called my personal number numerous times and then called my wife’s work to smear her. Here is the phone call of that interaction with my wife’s employer and Shumway’s employee. You’ll hear how she not only berates me and my wife, this psycho representative of Shumway’s creepily just makes it known that I have daughters. These tactics being used by the so called “Reverend” (or false prophet) who calls me a “bully” are wholly unacceptable. To take the time and research my wife, her employer, then call my wife’s work (why? To try and tortuously interfere with her employment?) and threaten to picket her business and then mention that you know I have daughters shows how mentally unstable these people truly are. Now, law enforcement has to monitor not only my wife’s work and our home, but my girls as well since it’s clear these people will do anything to try and gain political power. I thought you all were mentally unwell when you supported taxpayer funded sexual surgeries for minors, but this is next level insanity. This form of harassment will not be tolerated
