Permission to trim just 10 trees — but 49 trees allegedly cut and 32+ trees excessively trimmed. HOW? WHY? WHO AUTHORISED THIS? We questioned PCMC Garden Department officials. We approached multiple police stations. We ran from Ravet to Nigdi to Dehu Road until 9:30 PM. The result? No FIR. No clear jurisdiction. No accountability. If the department responsible for protecting trees says it knew nothing, then WHO is responsible? And if citizens cannot even establish which police station has jurisdiction over Appu Ghar, how are we supposed to seek justice? 🌳 Trees are not disposable objects.
