#ChhatrapatiSambhajinagar: Indian Railways Approves Surveys for New Lines in Marathwada Region
• The IndianRailways has approved final location surveys for the Detailed Project Reports (DPR) of two new railway lines: a 240-km Dharashiv–Beed–Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar line, which will pass through Georai, and a 110-km Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Ahilyanagar line, aiming to improve rail connectivity in the Marathwada region.
• These approvals were announced by Union Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw , who also highlighted the recent completion of the 236-km Daund–Manmad Doubling project and the operationalization of the 201-km Ahilyanagar–Beed–Parli Vaijnath section of a new line project.
• Further projects with completed or approved surveys include the Jalna–Khamgaon New Railway Line, with its DPR ready, and the Dharashiv–Beed–Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Ahilyanagar lines, for which surveys have been approved to prepare their respective DPRs.

NICDC, in collaboration with Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (#MITL), organised a two-day cross-learning visit to the Shendra–Bidkin Industrial Area at @AURICCity, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
The programme brought together officials from State Governments, SPVs, PMNCs, EPC contractors and other stakeholders. Shri Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD, NICDC, highlighted AURIC’s integrated planning, world-class infrastructure, digital governance and multimodal connectivity.
Participants explored AURIC’s utility infrastructure, project-monitoring systems and industrial ecosystem, along with visits to the manufacturing facilities of @DTPLIndia and @TheJSWGroup.
The visit enabled knowledge sharing on project implementation, land utilisation, investor facilitation and plug-and-play infrastructure, with a focus on replicating best practices across Industrial Corridor projects and under the #BHAVYA Scheme.
