90% of you swallow the wrong magnesium. And then wondering why you feel nothing. The cheap stuff in every multivitamin is magnesium oxide. It barely dissolves. A 2019 crossover trial gave 30 bros a 450 mg magnesium oxide tablet and watched their serum for 6 hours. Serum went up 4.6%. The placebo arm went up 4.8%. Oxide is so ass, that placebo won. In a dissolving experiment, oxide released up to 25% of it's magnesium content in 2 hours, where Glycinate released about 64%! so..... “HOW MUCH DO I NEED?” 400 mg a day if you're a man. Half of Americans don't even touch that. "But doc, I take 400 mg every day!" Pro tip: read the Supplement Facts panel, not the front of the bottle. “Magnesium Glycinate 1000 mg” on the front might be 100 mg of actual magnesium. “Doc, which one do I buy?” >Glycinate at night if you want to sleep. >Citrate if you are also constipated. >Malate if you train in the morning. >Oxide if you want an expensive bowel movement. BY THE WAY -- If you are running Super-Human thiamine off my pinned thread, this is the cofactor I said was mandatory. Oxide is why it did not work for you.

A elite prediction of failing your fat loss is how long it takes for you to return to your diet after messing up your weekend.

This is a dumb take. I’ve had an insane amount of friends who run on a regular basis, smashing through marathons, and they come away with an AMAZING BODY like this — 🙏
98% of people that have a good physique just lift weights, walk, and eat well Running is believed to be necessary to get/stay in shape by a lot of people that aren’t in shape but it’s actually totally unnecessary

Fasted, most of these don’t move the needle for any hormones or metabolic processes in the long term in comparison to just counting calories & macros. Except maybe cortisol.
Fasted, your growth hormone climbs several-fold to protect your muscle. Fasted, your insulin drops low enough to let your own fat out of storage. Fasted, you burn the fuel round your middle instead of waiting for a delivery. Fasted, your brain switches on orexin, the chemical that keeps a hungry animal awake and alert. Fasted for a few days, your metabolic rate goes up, not down. Fasted, your muscles are still full of yesterday's fuel, because an overnight fast mostly drains the liver. Fasted, your cells start breaking down and recycling their own worn-out parts. Fasted, there is no mid-morning slump, because there was no breakfast. Fasted, there's nothing sloshing about when you brace for a squat. Every hunter in history went out on an empty stomach. Nature never once put the hunt after breakfast.

What's the dumbest thing you've ever swallowed or injected because someone on this app called it "basically free gains"? I'll go first in the replies.

The FOUR reasons you don’t progress: 1. You don’t know how to train to failure 2. You don’t eat enough protein 3. You don’t know how to sleep 4. You don’t eat before you train
Most guys think the hard part is getting to the gym. Nah. The hard part is walking in without wasting the hour. I see the same dudes at my gym every week. Working hard. Sweating. Grinding. Six months later? Literally identical. Same body. Same bench press. Same "I don't know why I'm not getting stronger." I know why. They're not tracking a damn thing. Here's what I do differently: My workout is decided before I arrive. Exercises. Weight. Sets. Reps. Walk in. Execute. Walk out. No wandering around deciding what to hit. No "hmm, what should I do for back today?" Brain off. Body on. Every set goes in an app. 18 months of data sitting there. Hit 295 for 5 reps last week? Cool. 300 is loaded today. Then I dump it all into Claude to see: - How my lifts are trending - Whether volume's climbing - If I'm recovering or faking it - When I need to deload before I hurt myself Takes 2 minutes after each session. Sounds obsessive until you realize it's why my bench went from 225 to 315 while the guy next to me is still stuck at 225. Same gym. Same time investment. One of us is guessing. One of us knows. If you've been "trying" for months with nothing to show for it: You have a data problem. Start a notes app. Write down weight, sets, reps. That's it. You can't intentionally get stronger if you don't remember what you lifted last Tuesday.

I don’t care how “cool” it looks, I would NEVER relocate a dislocated joint outside of the hospital. Neurovascular damage is a real thing.

I know a guy who NEVER DID THIS. Trained on vacation, restricted diet on vacation, brought his food scale: SHREDDED and jacked to the gills. One of the Loneliest man I’ve ever met, and had a blood pressure of 145/77.
Nobody enjoys lifting weights more than I do…but when I’m on vacation…it’s light cardio only. No weights just getting some steps in and staying active. Helps with digestion, improves blood sugar control and offsets some of the damage from going off my normal diet. The weights will still be there when I get home… I work my ass off year-round for a reason. Gotta enjoy the fruits of my labor once in a while.

I can confirm. I literally CANNOT finish, until she’s orgasmed at least 3 times. (Which difficult for my size) I also promise my body count is depraved.
Look, I'm a former escort AND slut Men straight up cannot get hard if they think you're not into it Men hesitate mid-sex if they suspect you so much as winced I promise my sample size is higher than yours, and no, most men are not into sex a woman doesn't want I am not here for women who pretend most men are passive-aggressive predators, cuz they're not

Hilariously enough. I get second hand embarrassment from dudes who say “lifting steel is hard, you shouldn’t be enjoying your workouts”. LARP-ing needs to stop. (Here’s a picture of my cock 🐔)
If you're dreading your workouts, your program sucks. You should (mostly) look forward to training.

A significant portion users eventually come in, due to “side effects” and wanting “prescription testosterone”. Specialists wouldn’t touch this with a 6 foot pole. ER workers also don’t want to see you. If you don’t have bloodwork every 3 months, you’re doing it WRONG.
Young men are injecting testosterone to be more 'masculine' - without getting doctors involved trib.al/U0Ai1jk
