#Somalia | Four Ugandan AUSSOM Soldiers Killed in Al-Shabab Bombings in Lower Shabelle
Four Ugandan AUSSOM soldiers were killed and six others wounded tonight after Al-Shabab militants carried out two bomb attacks targeting their forces in Buulo Mareer, Lower Shabelle, according to local reports. Among those killed was a mine clearance officer, while a military vehicle was also destroyed by fire.
The attacks come amid a sharp increase in Al-Shabab operations against Ugandan forces in recent days. Just last night, militants ambushed Ugandan troops in Buulo Mareer, setting two military trucks ablaze. The latest attacks coincide with the ongoing withdrawal of Ugandan AUSSOM forces from positions in Lower Shabelle.

The love for country shines on their faces. Somalilanders have always protected their lands. There have never been UN troops, AMISOM troops in our land. They fought gallantly against fascist Italy in the 1940's.

The Somaliland Camel Corps was established in 1912 by British , followed by the Somaliland Scouts in 1941 during WWII, supporting British and Allied operations.
Today, that military legacy continues through the Somaliland National Army, defending our homeland and sovereignty.
