The worst unit is decibel: It isn't even a unit, isn't defined consistently across fields, hides an arbitrary reference scale and is named after Alexander Bell but spelled 'bel'
milli-ampere*hours (mAh, what you see on charging banks) is a serious contender for worst unit of all time. It is almost never useful and serves exclusively to obscure rather than clarify It is NOT an amount of energy

You have no idea how much it means for me to have the opportunity to save the Earth with the guy who lambasted James Cameron for using Papyrus.
Go watch #projecthailymary and see Ryan Gosling and Mallory McMorrow save the EARTH

According to a NASA report Lunar Trailblazer failed because the software pointed the solar panels *away* from the Sun. The NASA panel says Lockheed did not properly test the solar panel pointing software before launch. npr.org/2026/02/26/nx-s1-572…

🚀 LEO Express 3 is officially underway! Mira has successfully launched aboard the Transporter-15 rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Following separation from SpaceX’s Falcon 9, we’ve received initial telemetry data and confirmed two-way comms, as well as deployment of the solar arrays. The vehicle is healthy and we are moving through commissioning procedures. Stay tuned for mission milestones as Mira’s journey unfolds: impulsespace.com/updates/leo… #LEOExpress3 (Photos provided by @SpaceX)

We need to: 1) Gather all of the people who mistakenly think space can't cool things off 2) Gather all of the people who mistakenly think space instantly freezes things solid 3) Lock them together in a TVAC chamber until they come to equilibrium

Haven Demo moves into the Thermal Vacuum chamber (TVAC), where we simulate the extreme temperatures and vacuum conditions of space. This test allows our team to replicate vehicle operations in space and gain valuable insights that will help us prepare for Haven Demo being in-orbit.

We're pleased to announce our multi-launch agreement with @SES_Satellites, a global content and connectivity provider, to use our Helios kick stage to transport SES's satellites from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) directly to high-energy orbits in hours. (1/3)

Two burns. One orbit apart. 🔥   Mira completed two burns just a single orbit apart — a first for the vehicle. This rapid turnaround boosts flexibility, allowing multiple orbital adjustments to fit into minutes or hours, depending on burn magnitudes.   Precision and responsiveness: that’s how we deliver mission success. 🛰️🚀 ➡️ Learn more about the LEO Express-2 mission: impulsespace.com/updates/leo…   #LEOExpress2
