When we met @Jerr_Wu & @wgm752 during YC we knew they were building something special. Congrats to the entire Halluminate team on their $30M series A!
This is the benchmarks and training environments that will help AI tackle real financial work.
Today we're excited to announce @HalluminateAI's $30M Series A led by @oakhcft with participation from @YCombinator, @orangecollectv, @FTPartners, @heavybit, and more.
How many board decks does someone need to leak to the competitor to get a job?
I’m super excited to join Cognition as its Chief Revenue Officer.
Going from the 1st sales rep at Snowflake to CRO at a $100b public company was the thrill of a lifetime. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I'd get the opportunity to jump on another rocket ship. Meeting Scott, Russell, and the entire team at Cognition got me so excited to do it again with world-class technology. Hearing how customers spoke about how Devin is transforming their business made me realize this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
While I am not jumping on as the first sales rep this time, I can’t wait to dive in and help drive amazing customer outcomes while building a world-class sales team. As many of you know, Chad Peets was my co-pilot in building the sales team at Snowflake and my business partner when I joined RPT. There is no world where I could be the best version of myself without Chad. So I am thrilled that Chad and the RPT team will be working closely with me in our pursuit of building a generational company. LFG!!
The 101 closure this weekend doubled my drive time from the South Bay to Nopa.
I hope those pushing to remove the Central Freeway understand how much worse traffic could get without it.

We built QCircuitEval: a benchmark for quantum code.
Here is the problem it was built for. Two quantum circuits can return the same measurement results and still be different programs. One correct, one wrong.
Many benchmarks for quantum code grade against a single reference solution, so a model can produce the right numbers without doing the work.
QCircuitEval checks both. What the circuit outputs, and how it was built. QCircuitEval says: I know you got the answer right, but show me the working.
70 tasks across Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, and NVIDIA CUDA-Q. Open-sourced, MIT license. GPT-5.6 Sol hits 92.7% pass@1. Seven of the 33 models and configurations we tested sit above 90%. Frontier models are already saturating the benchmark.
Two things I did not expect. Reasoning effort makes little difference to the frontier scores. And safety filters push some models to flat out refuse tasks they could otherwise complete.
Quantum computers will not produce new science on their own. Something has to write the programs that run on them. More and more often that something is a large language model. If those programs are wrong in ways neither we nor the model can see, the results are wrong too. Nobody finds out until much later.
We want researchers across academia and industry to set this standard with us. Quantum code generation depends on it. So does the first AI that uses a quantum computer to discover something new.
It’s giving…. You can’t use Wikipedia only the encyclopedia for sources
You’d think they would’ve learned after 30 years
Mayor Zohran Mamdani and other city officials announced a sweeping new policy Wednesday imposing a one-year ban on student use of generative artificial intelligence in New York City public schools from 2-K through 8th grade, while limiting screen time for younger students and launching AI literacy lessons for high schoolers. One of the best teams out there! Congrats @DanAkarca and team.
Tailored Inference is going to be the new way to think about inference where it is bespoke to you: mapping the tasks, models and hardware all together to be faster, cheaper and more capable
Today we announce our $100M seed round to redefine how humanity computes in AI's next chapter.

Founders, designers, filmmakers & artists of any kind: join us for the 10th anniversary of Japanese animation's finest films.
Your Name changed what an animated film was allowed to be. Ten years later we're changing animation with AI.
What doesn't change is the human spirit. Let's revel in that.

The SPC community has always been special.
When @transposevc first met @rsanghvi in 2017, we knew we wanted to be part of what she was building.
We have been incredibly fortunate to partner with her and the entire SPC team over the years. Congratulations on everything you have accomplished!
we look forward to working together for many years to come.
Congrats to @adityaag, @finn_meeks, @evantana, and the entire SPC team!
Today we’re announcing SPC Fund IV: $575M to help founders find their life’s work.
A decade of guiding founders through -1 to 0 brings @SPC to $2B in AUM and, more importantly, a 1200 member community of the world’s most talented technologists. We strongly believe that:
→ The person comes before the idea. At -1, generational founders are often busy reading, prototyping, discarding, and earning the right to their own conviction.
→ Ambition is social. The people you surround yourself with in the early days play a big part in inflecting your ambition.
→ Patience compounds. It is better to work on something you have deep conviction in rather than simply sprint at the first idea.
The quiet months we protect at the beginning have produced three funds in the top 10% of their vintages, and companies like @baseten, @GammaApp, @render, @GoodfireAI, @LumaLabsAI, and @profound. We are proud to have worked with all these founders in their -1 phase and beyond.
While we defined -1 to 0, we're no longer bound by it. Fund IV allows us to partner with companies well beyond launch.
We're doing this now because we've never seen a wider gap between what's possible and what's being attempted. Intelligence is abundant. The cost of trying ideas keeps falling, and problems that seemed insurmountable a few years ago are quickly becoming solvable.
To our members, to the founders who trusted us before anyone else did, and to the LPs who had conviction in our own -1 journey: thank you. This milestone belongs to you as much as to us.
To the builders looking to find your life’s work: let’s get started.

What a rotten deal we made with Iran. We get nothing (except laughter at our stupidity). They get everything, including delay and big cash!
Amazing work. The internet is getting weirder. It is going to be so hard to know what is real.
Excited to see people are working on security and identification. @albertorosasg and @_arosasg are building a new identity platform to ensure fast, secure, global human identification.
We just raised $7.5M to build the infrastructure for identity and fraud.
The round is backed by @ycombinator, Orange Collective, Rebel Fund, Pioneer Fund, and other incredible VCs and angels.
AI is making fraud incredibly cheap to create: fake identities, fake businesses, fake transactions, all generated at internet scale. We believe every app will soon need trust infrastructure the same way apps today rely on payments or cloud hosting.
The future of the internet is verified. Didit (@didit) is building it.
The @tbpn shadow ban is crazy. I haven’t seen them on my timeline in weeks.
Organizations live and die by the people in charge.

Remember when @elonmusk actually card about the national debt. What happened to that?
America is $39 trillion in debt and adding another $1.9 trillion a year. How long before this becomes impossible to fix?

When we met @nico_laqua and Emily, we knew they were building something special.
Congrats on the new round. This is just the beginning 🚀
Today, @UseCorgi is announcing a $160M Series B at a $1.3B valuation led by TCV.
This new round of funding will help us scale what we've built and expand into new verticals including trucking, payroll, and small business.
This follows our $108M Series A that we announced 16 weeks ago, bringing total funding to over $268M.
