Nuclear is the only source of energy that uses fuel, but said fuel is not worth anything and powers a functionally fuel-less system because there is SO MUCH of it, and the energy density is stupidly powerful. Nuclear is the true renewable energy source. Always has been.

What company do y’all think is “doing the most to solve climate change”? Is it Tesla? Something else? How would you evaluate it? Is the answer different if you look at to date accomplishments vs. future potential? Curious what everyone thinks.

The overwhelming evidence - from more than 100 years of playing with the stuff - is that those soaking up those stray radio elements will live longer. But hey, it's only 12.8 microSiverts. thethoriumnetwork.com/2022/0…

On average, Finnish nuclear power plant fleet is one of the oldest (at the moment). Yet we don’t hear how they’d be too old or failing. A lot of thanks is to the people maintaining them, but national acceptance plays a big role too.
