Tucker built his brand by being the type of commentator that kept you wondering if he was sane or not. Right down to his maniacal laugh at random times, you never knew if he might go psycho on his set at any moment. It was entertaining and fresh. But I don’t think it was organic. Then he got the boot from Fox. All he’s doing right now is building a new brand. It’s just shock and awe aimed at staying relevant. The more outrageous the better? I think that’s his goal. He never really belonged to conservatives. His endorsement doesn’t mean anything. He’s not loyal to anyone.

I was in Northern Europe on 9/11. In Finland and on my way to St. Petersburg, Russia. The one thing that comforted me was how kind everyone was. Me, a stranger who didn’t speak their language but there they were waving little American flags. Finland’s people were like a big warm hug. I’ll never forget that. Because I was a long way from home and I had the worst sinking feeling that nothing was ever going to be ok again. Couldn’t get home because of the grounding of flights. Was very afraid when I was finally able to board a flight back. No, if you were alive then you never will forget where you were on that day.

I don’t know if you’ve read any of the interviews from three of the 12 jurors on the Clancy trial, they’re online now, but the jury foreperson said “she was so excited” to acquit Lindsay Clancy and that the one lone holdout juror was an “arrogant man” who refused to uphold the definition of reasonable doubt. So there you have it. In my opinion she seems arrogant herself, drunk on some of her own power. Going on television and continuing to castigate the one juror is next level arrogance. Hell on fire, look at them.
