I'm working on a compiler that goes directly from a grammar description to optimized machine code. You can then generate headers for it and link to that.
Who says we're not under the law? Jesus says we're under the law, Paul says we're under the law, we still see rainbows so even Noah says we're still under the law.

You're still falling for the linguistic scam... Food and healthcare ARE rights... the same way firearms are a right (i.e. not an entitlement)

I don't expect a person to prove his statement in a sentence, but if you can't even summarize it in a sentence I'm not watching the video

Bible: Unambiguous and uncontested statement "Do <thing>"
Guy: (hour long mental gymnastics on why "Do <thing>" doesn't mean you have to do <thing>)

"They would have had to validate and sanitize the name text entered" If you could compromise the integrity of the iPhone by writing a plain text file to unencrypted storage, we would have much bigger problems to worry about.

But literally nobody else needs to do this... Why do I even need a launcher? Why can't I just, you know, INSTALL A GAME

So? If you're using TLS, you're using DNS, that's just how the system works right now. Would you like to stand up for the class and present a solution that has no DNS whatsoever?
Well Mr. Check, while it may be a type of "jet engine" in certain circles, this particular "jet engine" would not be able to take off in a vacuum. Maybe a little bit of rolling down the runway (beltway?), but that's it.
You can also do it the other way, the system launches a process and runs it under the permissions of some user, like www-data.
There's also selinux which has permissions on top of this, which can prevent www-data from making system changes—even if you have the root password
Not sure what you mean exactly, but just because an executable like php or apache is owned by one user doesn't mean that's the user it runs with the permissions of. That's only true for very special executables like sudo, which always runs as root regardless of who launched it.
Not for the purposes of this thread, where the jet part of the engine has to be able to get the plane off the ground.

For some reason the browser vendors are dead set against deploying DANE, which would definitively solve the problem. Anyone know why?
