OpenAI, Helical and $NBIS are bringing drug-discovery models into Codex.
Helical’s 27 Oct announcement lets researchers describe an experiment in plain English, run biological models and adapt them to their own data.
Nebius already supplied the compute to train Helical’s 500M-parameter Helix-mRNA model: 16 GPUs for 10 days, with specialist versions taking another 36 hours each.
Now they’re opening these tools beyond Helical’s existing pharma deployments, including compute credits for academic researchers.
