What’s wild is your attempt to conflate the genocidal Israeli government with “Jewish people.” You’re like a double nightmare. Racist against Palestinians and antisemitic.
“To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild.”
Broadway icon and Nobody Wants This star Tovah Feldshuh gets real with Jonathan Harounoff on UNSCRIPTED, on acting, marriage, the global rise of antisemitism, and what she says about the genocide accusations against Israel.

This doesn't teach to the whole person and is the reason why we've made education into a failing jobs training. If a student is below expectations, you slow down or go back and figure out when it becomes easy and add one more thing.

My dad taught shop for 16 years. I cannot tell you the number of his former students who have told me, "The only reason I stayed in school was your dad's shop class."

Imagine a school system that‘s so bad it creates illiterate students, then punishes those struggling students by depriving them of participating in beautiful subjects like art and music (where they could actually thrive.)

Kids who need remediation typically don't do well spending twice as much time on subjects they struggle with. Electives/sports are a huge incentive system to get them to do anything. "We're taking away the one thing you look forward to and giving you even more of the thing you hate, please comply"

This makes me think of the dozens of kids I've had who found joy in education through culinary, art, or sports and then turned it into achievement across all subjects. This is the polar opposite of what needs to happen but it also could be parody, lol.

One of the highlights of my time in Jordan was visiting UNWRA archives and examining the index cards and other records of the 750,000 Palestinians kicked off their land at the Nakba in 1948. They used to be kept in Gaza and were airlifted out at the beginning of the genocide- Israel has destroyed all the archives that remained. They form the best evidence for some form of reparations in the future and are now being scanned and digitalised

Gaza and the Turning of History: The Middle East Before and After ARDD Organizes William Dalrymple’s Visit to UNRWA Archives and High-Level Dialogue on Palestine
للمزيد: ardd-jo.org/news/%d8%ba%d8%b…
The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), through its Renaissance Strategic Center (RSC), organised, under the theme “Gaza and the Turning of History: The Middle East Before and After,” a visit to the UNRWA Photo and Film Archives with renowned British historian and author William Dalrymple, alongside a high-level working lunch bringing together diplomats, academics, policymakers, and regional experts to reflect on Gaza and Palestine within the broader historical and political transformations shaping the Middle East.
During the visit to the UNRWA Archives, facilitated in cooperation with UNRWA, Dalrymple explored historical records documenting Palestinian displacement, refugee experiences, and collective memory since 1948. Recognized by UNESCO’s Memory of the World Programme, the archives underscore the importance of preserving Palestinian history, identity, and the experiences of generations of refugees.

Exactly this. They are also lazy and too comfortable. The large majority don't know what struggle means.

like, i see americans asking “how did lula do it” and “what’s janones channel like” and i’m like….. you could never have what we have, you can’t copy it and there’s no sense of collectivity and belonging and shared cultures acrosss class and race lines in the US
Lazarus' New Colossus was also propaganda. It literally recast the Statue of Liberty - originally created by Bartholdi and Eiffel to celebrate the end of enslavement of Black folks in the U.S. - as a symbol of White immigrants seeking freedom. xitter.cf/transjewtalian/status/…
