I know, because you literally banned booze about 20 years ago because of drunken hooliganism
Come in here chatting pish mate

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I’d love it as well- it’s just totally the wrong environment to put it in. Plus it’s one of the *only* places in society where anger is socially accepted so some people really gear up to let their entire week out on it… bit dicey really

“Capable of learning” has actually made me so mad. Like it needs to be a part of a syllabus

Ahh man, I remember when I first learned not to stab women at FOURTEEN YEARS OLD… the actual fuck are they rabbiting about

Sadly, pretty much tbh. When the accepted culture surrounding football is that it’s a safe space to vent anger, letting people drink in the stands is kinda like chucking petrol on the fire.

Primarily because in other sports, fans are integrated; you don’t get Yorkshire CC fans all in a single block singing homophobic songs at Sussex fans at matches. Wimbledon doesn’t have the Jannik Sinner Ultras having a scrap with the Alcaraz Army in the park after the trophy lift

Well, good for them. Back of H5 will absolutely be volleying pints down the stairs. As well as every single set of away fans at every ground in the UK.

Not for a fucking second. Sounds like a good idea until the reality hits. We like to think we’d be like Germany, all affably sinking pints in the stands but in reality we’d be like Brazil, fighting stewards and trying to jump barriers
This would be such a bad idea.
New: Andy Burnham has signalled he may lift the ban on drinking alcohol in the stands. The PM's comments have been welcomed by the EFL & @WeAreTheFSA. Drinking in view of the pitch is already allowed at women's games (in WSL/WSL2). Story with @PippaCrerar theguardian.com/football/202…

Cos it’d be hard to film yourself doing this while getting your head stamped on in the away end for wearing home colours

Because they know it’s more likely to get to someone on the right, they don’t actually care themselves
Head so far up his own arse he’s eating the same meal on loop
Oh I see, that “ok” sounded like a disagreement which is what I responded to
I didn’t realise my first response was enough for you; that’s my misunderstanding.
