I will say that for Evil Empire’s first attempt at designing a metroidvania, I’m kind of shocked at how well-designed the layouts are in Castlevania Belmont’s Curse. Navigating doesn’t feel aggressively tedious; it actually somehow feels more thought out than Hollow Knight 😶

SCSKiller is a must have app on your PC. It gets rid of shader compilation stutter completely in games that don't have a pre-compilation step (Silent Hill Townfall) and even for games that miss a few shaders for the pre-compile step.
Just uploaded a very short video on SCSKiller, a new tool that aims to completely eliminate shader compilation stutter. It's only a short video as I am out of town this week, but I will do a more detailed video soon. Link in replies.
