Greetings from our farms in Mogadishu, Somalia! 🇸🇴🌱🍅
In early June 2026, we planted F1 hybrid tomatoes in our four greenhouses with an investment of $5,000 , By mid-October 2026, just four months later, we had generated $12,000 in revenue! 🚜📈
This is the power of modern agriculture, smart investment, and the potential of Somali farming. We believe agriculture is not just about growing crops; it is about creating jobs, strengthening food security, and building a prosperous future for Somalia.
Soomaali duul adag oo dalkooda ilaashada. Ma jiro qarni uu Soomaalida u dhamaaday iyada aan ku jirin dagaal isdifaac ah muddo 1400 sano ku dhow.

In your father's words, "you came in solidarity with Ethiopia in the first place!" Your withdrawal is a sigh of relief.
Somalia would definitely stand on its feet but not in the leadership of the current culprits, the political hawkers, the stooges.

Are you aware that Somalia is compromising its national sovereignty and diluting its unique national identity by altering its passport to bear the name of the East African Community? #Somalia

This reads like a textbook case of contemporary international law, sovereignty, and the dynamics of powerful states versus the Global South.
Will the UN remain relevant as an international institution, or will alternative, UN-like bodies emerge if it becomes obsolete and international law is no longer respected?
Will this lawlessness stop here, or will the "law of the jungle" take over as middle powers follow in the footsteps of superpowers who disrespect sovereignty and use their veto whenever a resolution does not suit them?
This asymmetry is particularly stark given that Africa and the wider Global South completely lack this privilege; not a single country from these regions holds a permanent, veto-wielding seat on the UN Security Council. Will this current state of affairs continue, or will it inevitably be replaced by a newly fragmented global order?
Only time will tell!
THIS IS A MUST WATCH! @mehdirhasan

Steve Cortez with his disgraceful arrogance - he believes America is above the law as a country
Steve Cortes (often spelled Cortez in casual queries) is an American political strategist, commentator, and former Wall Street trader who has been a prominent figure in conservative media and presidential campaigns. He is best known for his role as a senior spokesperson and advisor to Donald Trump's presidential campaigns, particularly leading Hispanic outreach efforts.

The current Somali president @HassanSMohamud either completely lacks a strategic press and communications team, or his existing advisors severely lack the competence and strategic understanding required for high-level media relations.
Alternatively, he may simply refuse to listen to his aides due to a personal obsession with being interviewed by the press. Either way, it demonstrates a complete lack of media literacy and, unfortunately for his ego, the fault ultimately lies with him.
A proficient communications team must act as a strict filter. They need to carefully vet which outlets are granted interviews and identify the politically opportune moments to speak. Crucially, they must thoroughly understand that every media organisation operates with its own internal political and geopolitical agendas.
If an interview is deemed absolutely necessary or significant, a leader must never go in unprepared. They must be meticulously briefed, comprehensively equipped, and thoroughly rehearsed on all potential questions.
Operating without this level of scrutiny and strategic guidance leaves a head of state highly vulnerable in the international arena.
Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud speaks to Sky's @YousraElbagir about not getting dragged into regional conflict, foreign interference in Somalia and the reasons he thinks Israel has recognised Somaliland.
