Disappointing to hear that no @LibDems contacted by the @DarlingtonUnion have been willing to even respond to them. Given the LD Party just passed a motion to diminish women's rights, politicians should at least look women who have been affected in the eye and tell them why.
LIB DEM SILENCE: We have made every effort to engage all political parties on the issue of single-sex spaces in the NHS and to ensure they hear directly from female staff affected by the impact of gender identity policies in the workplace.
We have met with representatives from the Labour Government, the Conservatives, and Reform.
We have also repeatedly reached out to the @LibDems, particularly following their troubling treatment of gender-critical women at their recent conference.
From @EdwardJDavey, @timfarron, and @HelenMorganMP, we have received only silence.
Given that silence, we hoped the party's spokesperson for women and equalities, Marie Goldman MP, would want to hear the experiences of frontline NHS nurses involved in a landmark legal case.
Again, silence.
Women who believe that biological sex matters, that truth matters, and that every person deserves dignity and respect are hearing that message loud and clear

An amendment to the sporting events bill was defeated by Labour voting against it. @louie_french (and I as I suggested it in The Lords) Conservative shadow sports minister wanted int. events brought to this country to insist the female category is protected as the ioc does, & the uk Supreme Court ruling stipulates .. sadly Labour doesn’t seem to care if our girls get fair sport

In the UK, people suffering from a mental health condition can get their healthy breasts and genitals surgically amputated for no medical reason whatsoever.
This is my case for why these procedures should be illegal and any doctors performing them should be behind bars.

I don't care in the slightest if boys want to put on make up, take ballet classes and call themselves 'Susan.' If that's what makes them happy, fabulous. I don't want them harmed in any way. However, wearing a tutu and calling yourself Susan doesn't make you a girl and it is regressive in the extreme to say that it does.

As an ex-teacher, one reason I started my toilet campaign was the stories of mixed sex school toilets demonstrated the important of single sex designs, esp for girls and medically vulnerable. Children have been the guinea pigs because of quirks in regs exemptions for schools.

The last month or so our lives have been turned upside down it’s been both overwhelming and tiring but it’s been worth it knowing some of the most dangerous offenders will not walk our streets early ….

There is so much that could be said about this. He uses pretty much every stupid trope in the playbook - we don't believe there is a conflict with women's rights, transwomen are the most oppresed, the debate should be reasonable but JKR has made it toxic, using one bad apple to smear a whole community' before a self righteous declaration of 'we spread kidness' and walking off.
