I watched more than 20 Beacon Hill International Elementary School kids dodge fentanyl foil and homeless drug addicts as they walked home Monday afternoon.
One parent says Seattle Public Schools refuses to provide school buses since they are dealing with a budget crisis.
Meanwhile, less than a week after socialist Mayor Katie Wilson announced her new plan to address homelessness, her streets are covered with service resistant drug addicts because they are all refusing shelter and services.

King County's homelessness agency had over $1 billion in grants available over six years.
They left $260 million of it unspent.
But they budgeted their overhead like they'd spent every dime. So they still ran a $16.7 million deficit, and borrowed from the county to cover it.
Their records were such a mess, auditors had to rebuild six years of books from individual checks and invoices.
Homelessness doubled on their watch. Councilmember Rod Dembowski says people died because that money never hit the street.
A shelter for older women in Kenmore got told "we don't have the money." They had a quarter billion dollars.
This isn't compassion. It's malpractice. Shut it down.

It is deeply troubling to see Americans brazenly assaulted and forcefully removed from a public place simply for expressing an idea. (Let alone such a mainstream idea as “Save Women's Sports”!)
When it comes to the long-term preservation of liberty, culture matters. The prevailing ideas of ordinary people will inevitably shape our courts, legislatures, and laws.
And what’s happening in Portland is not a culture of free speech.
A free-speech culture allows both sides of an issue to be heard, not just one. A free-speech culture responds to words with words, not with violence and forceful silencing. A free-speech culture doesn’t reflexively equate disagreement with hatred.
The culture festering in Portland looks less like American liberty and more like totalitarianism. We should take it seriously.
This isn’t just a story about women’s sports. It’s a cultural contest about the totalitarian impulse to redefine reality—and the future of free speech itself.

Donald Trump clearly hasn't learned from his Covid era mistakes. He fails to recognize how ineffective his warp speed vaccine is as the ninth shot is being recommended to seniors. Even more troubling is the documented harm being caused by the shot to so many innocent children and adults who are suffering myocarditis, pericarditis and brain inflammation.
This has been confirmed by a CDC funded study of 99 million people. Instead of bragging about its speedy approval, we should be honestly and transparently debating the abundant evidence that this vaccine may have caused more harm than good. In fact, I look forward to debating both Trump and Biden on September 16th in San Marcos, TX.

Voters have rejected a state income tax 10 times. Clear, repeated, decades-long “no.”
So the majority party in Olympia did what they always do when the people don’t consent: they ignored the vote, passed it themselves, slapped on an emergency clause to block a referendum, and told everyone it’s only for millionaires (for now).
Consent is binary. “No means no” applies to taxes too.
You don’t get to keep asking until you get the answer you want, then redefine the question so the public never gets a real veto.
That’s not progressive. That’s just entitled.
If a private individual ignored “no” 10 times and took it anyway, we’d call it what it is.
