Wool is a renewable fiber made by rain, sun and grass. It’s shorn off sheep annually, which is a quick painless haircut for the sheep. Our wool comes from ranches we know in the USA, free range sheep which live happy lives.
Wool will naturally return to the earth when discarded, while synthetic clothing made from polyester, nylon, and other plastics, never break down fully. They only pollute the earth, kill wildlife, and release millions of tons of microplastics into the planet annually.
Once again, @peta (here protesting at some fashion week) proving itself a friend of Big Plastic.
Here I make the full argument for the moral obligation to buy a Ferrari on Senra: xitter.cf/davidsenra/status/2081…
.@DHH says successful founders have a moral obligation to buy a Ferrari:
“You have an obligation, if you sell a product or service and you make a lot of money on it, to put that money back into the system. Send some of that money to the craftsmen of Italy to create you a beautiful Ferrari.”
“I think that's a good part of capitalism.”
“We want to better our lot and some of that is material, and there's no shame in that whatsoever.”
“We would not have Ferraris to pine for if no one bought them. And who can buy them? The people who've been successful in other parts of business.”
“Therefore it is your moral obligation to buy a Ferrari if you do really well (or Lamborghini or Pagani or whatever floats your boat).”
“You should be sending this forward. This is how we get to have nice things.
“Not everything can just be boiled down to needs. Man needs more than just bread to live. We need beautiful Ferraris, even if we don't own them.”

America gave china our production capacity, exposing the country to massive national security vulnerabilities, and gutted communities that were once home to America's manufacturing might.
China considers AI a key piece of their industrial policy.
We've made this mistake before, if the "pause AI" people get their way, we are going to do it again.
The stupidity of these people trying to kneecap America knows no limits. This time, it will permanently shift the scales of power in China's favor. These people are are actively trying to irreparably harm America.

“We’re actually just regular middle-class Americans. Pretty amazing how good we have it in this country, isn’t it?”

both my father and I served and fought in Afghanistan, as he did in many conflicts before that.
my grandfather and uncles served in Vietnam, and that line has continued with many descendants down through the years.
we have all seen and experienced great loss. We stand on the shoulders of giants who bore those same burdens.
every day we walk the hallowed ground that patriots fought and died to secure for this nation 250 years ago.
on this Memorial Day, we remember them all.
God bless them, and God bless you all. 🇺🇸

Quick note regarding Memorial Day:
Tomorrow is not the day to thank the veterans in your life for their service. As much as it’s appreciated—and I promise you, it very much is—that’s what Veterans Day is for, not Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is for those we can now only thank from a distance, no longer in person. It’s for the men and women who never made it back home to have their hands shaken or their bar tab taken care of in gratitude.
It’s for wives and husbands who have been handed trifold flags at funerals.
For kids missing a parent at their graduation ceremony.
For parents visiting a cemetery tomorrow instead of going to a barbecue.
Most importantly, it’s for the fallen.
It’s for those who paid the ultimate price for their brothers and sisters in arms, our flag, our freedom.
By all means, thank a veteran any of the other 364 days of the year (we don’t expect it, though we always appreciate it).
But please save tomorrow for the heroes no longer with us to hear our words of gratitude.
May we never forget them. May our nation be forever grateful.
