Hi @airtelindia @Airtel_Presence team! I had to finally resort to complain publicly given my never ending bad experience on my ongoing request. Firstly, my India airtel SIM became faulty all of a sudden; which is none of my fault. In order to request for an e-SIM which I thought would be instant; this has transpired already: 1. Issue raised more than 1 week back 2. First I need to get a new physical SIM, which only my blood relative can collect in India 3. I shared all documents with my sister based in Bellandur; Bangalore (7 docs actually!) 4. Airtel person collected them and then also took a screenshot of me on video call while we were all busy on a working day 5. Told to email NOC authorization letter on Bellandur branch id 6. Told again to write specific words for authorization on that email 7. Then my sister had to insert new physical sim to go through e- SIM activation 8. Another 24 hours wait as SMS got barred 9. Sister had to request on Airtel Thanks app (no thanks really phew!) 10. Wait another 24 hours for on call verification 11. Then @Airtel_Presence told me on DM that process still not complete for us to share QR code with me 12. Then told me to share passport (again) on email 13. Told me today to share VISA copy (again) on email 14. Still no clue if or when I will receive QR code for e-SIM I am now thinking of telling my sister to Porter my physical SIM to my friend in Bangalore, who will fly to Doha soon! Shall I #Airtel team? In short: JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY IS THE PROCESS SO CUMBERSOME TO GET AN ALTERNATE SIM FOR A NUMBER I AM USING FOR 15 YEARS NOW?
